Self-generated revenue.

Unlike City.

Where else do you think the money has come from if it isn't self generated ?

When you are a club with the stature of LFC then you can generate this money.

Clubs like Man City are a joke, although Pep has got them playing decent football, but when money is no object, this is what you get.

Tchouaméni preferred Real Madrid though. Thank fack for that as he is some player.

Can live with the Nunez signing if it means you lose Mane and Salah in the next 2 seasons as those 2 in their peak were better than most attacks we have seen in the PL.

We'll get about 50 million in sales.. Now where will Man-cheaty get their sales to buy Haaland and 2/3 more 50 million players??

I actually don't think losing Mane is going to hamper us that much, Diaz is outstanding and has easily usurped Mane on the left side of our attack which is why Mane ended up playing centrally.

He was excellent there, but even if Nunez is a slow started, Jota is still brilliant in that central position.

Salah and Mane are so good because of the team they play in, they rely so little on individual brilliance that provided we sign players with the right mentality as well as skill, we'll be fine.

Like City, there is no player you take out of that City side and they become immediately weaker.

You know that if we don't bring any further signings in this window, we'll likely make a profit right?

Minamino, Ox, Mane, Phillips, Williams all headed out the door...

£64m as a transfer fee is a huge chunk of money tbh.

If we get £40m for Mane, £17m for Taki and £8m for Phillips then it’s pretty much covered.

Last year was huge in terms of revenue - number of games played and televised including the CL final.
Will still have a load of money to be able to spend - if we decide to.

Nunez wages will be immediately covered and then some by Mane going.

Everybody and their dog knows what is going on at City, yet the governing bodies are too scared to do anything, as they do not have the financial clout to take them on, it's the same with PSG, and in the past Chelsea, their 1.5b debt is testament to this.

It's only deluded city fans on here who would have you think otherwise, a team who cannot fill their own stadium, and cannot sell their allocation for a showpiece game at Wembley, yet can overspend every other club on the planet.

We all know the score. To say otherwise is nonsense.

tbf they might get some decent money back for B Silva, and they made a nice lil profit on Torres?

But pretty sure their net spend will still be around 5/6 times ours either way.

One of the main reasons nobody really gives City's success much credit.

Nunez Looked a baller vs us as Diaz did, hopefully hits the ground running exciting us like Diaz did.

Next season is going to be very exciting, I am also hearing rumours about Bellingham, I do not know how much truth is in it, and Dortmund do not let two stars go in one season, but you never know.

You seem more intent on having a dig at City than actually talking about an imminent signing for an amount that could end up being Liverpool’s record transfer fee.

It is what it is, City will do their thing and we'll do ours. Ultimately we're both trying to do the same thing, maximise the use of our resources to win football matches.

I have reservations about Nunez if I'm honest and what it'll mean for team fit. But given what the club have done over the last few years, especially with recruitment, you've got to trust them. Excited to see what he can do.

Bellingham I would be super-excited about. Can't see it though, not after Dortmund have lost one star and we're paying out a record fee.

City won’t be selling anyone

The PL has allowed them to have a squad of 35 players on the grounds that they haven’t won anything for 20 years and the average attendances are the same as Torquay
