Good grief, what a bunch of neanderthals. Closest that England will get to winning a major tournament in our life times. England women play better football than Southgate's brand.

The Swedish national team are staying at the hotel where my gym is.

I've spent so much time swimming, hot tubbing and sauna-ing recently that I'm like a 58 year old prune!

Sadly the ladies tend to be practicing on their pitch rather than making use of the gym facilities.

Depends how you view being patriotic. I love my country more than club. I have a left sleeve dedicated to England, I can name every king and queen we have had since 1042 (OK including when we officially became Britain in 1600s royalty wise) and know a lot of our historic content. I'm very proud to be English.

But i can't get too into the woman's game so will be watching one foot in the grave on uk gold

Totally agree - the women’s game might be mnany years behind the men’s but I’m growing to love it. No histrionics, no constantly berating the ref, no diving for fun, no obscene wages… and unlike the bottlers we produce at virtually every major international men’s tournament, these England women are giving a good account of themselves so far.

England team didn’t bottle it, we lost the final on penalties. We way over achieved in fact. Nothing but praise for how we came through that tournament.

Bottling is having a golden generation of players either not making tournaments or losing the quarters every time to inferior teams

Come on lads it's 2022 not 1822 - Lionesses have been fantastic and a joy to watch.

Like I said in my first post here, its a mans world!..

A shame really because all it proves is that some can't accept times are moving on and should be getting better!..

My school days were full off hate and the anti evrything things, things that the new age should be leaving behind, but unless people get with it we'll still be stuck in the past and some will never find the new meaning of life!..

The FA pay the men and women the same per cap, the disparity comes from competition prize money from FIFA or UEFA not being equal.

tbh, i care not i jot about any form of international football, women, men, horses, dogs or worms
