Call me what you want but I can’t stand when they have a woman pundit on who doesn’t add anything but is only there because she’s a woman.

Control we win has finally got to you😂🤭

Yeah, I agree with OP here. Keane would have been great to see after that shambles.

Sexist pig, her contribution was vital.

"Gary is right, it is the Glazers fault that De Gea can't play out from the back, apparently Avram personally demanded Eriksen played as a defensive midfielder despite never playing there in his entire career, and Joel Glazer arranged for Lisandro Martnez to be kept in a tupperware container for the first 4 years of his life as he thought a 5'7" centre back would be perfect in a league where an average of 11.9% of assists are crosses. Glazers Out!"

Thought it was pretty Good entertainment. You could tell how badly Gary wanted to smack Redknapp in the face after the incredibly condescending 'Look at me when I'm talking to you'. Wonder if he would've said that to Keane.

The irony of this too when your owner is from a country where men can have up to 6 wives and a woman is villified beyond imagination if they cheat.

But he bought you your success right so that sexism is perfectly fine.

He was right in everything he said. As was Neville. Some people don’t understand this on here but there can be two correct sides to a conversation.

ETH certainly put this on the players by what he did to them yesterday.

Erm....no it's not. A quick Google will tell you it's still perfectly legal in the UAE as it is in most Muslim countries.

Selective sexism from the oil club. 👍

I too want the Glazers out. The argument of keeping Ed Woodward too long is a fair one. But this idea Manchester United battered by Brentford and Neville talking about facilities.

I have time for Gary Neville but to this day I don't understand the issue with the Glazers. They bought the club like many people buy properties. They have kept up their payments. The money that we have spent is THEIR money. This idea that it is not their money is ridiculous!!

The UAE ranks first in the world for treating women with respect. Street harassment is virtually non-existent, and many expats express feeling much safer there than in their own country. Whether you’re walking down the street at 3am or taking a late-night taxi, you might get a few strange looks, but the likelihood of anyone speaking to you – or worse – is incredibly low. You will often hear a narrative of women being ‘protected’ or ‘elevated’, as a form of respect in the Emirates.

Whilst the female pundit can make good points, they're on a different wavelength to the guys who prefer to banter and argue. The female then becomes like a third wheel.

Yes I tend to agree with a lot of that.

They clearly aren’t blameless but it’s easy to fully blame them after so many failed regimes but every manager was given enough money to succeed.

And the money, Process, is their money. When Neville said even the pundits can buy Manchester United and money will still be spent, albeit true, what he failed to explain was if that easy how comes he and the chumps of 92/ ex players don't just form a consortium and buy the club. Whether the club generates the money or not, as the Glazers own the football club, it is their MONEY

Not really the point he was making though. It's their money, but that's no excuse for the inexplicable way the club has been run post-Fergie - they are ultimately accountable for that.

posted on 15/8/22

That is exactly the point he was making and that is why he said even if they (pundits on show) owned the club the money will be spent.

No one is denying they have a huge part to play. You can't however be telling me about bloody facilities after we got beaten well and good by Brentford. Brentford facilities better than ours??

posted on 15/8/22

The team we had out there costs circa 400m quid. Brentford 55m.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
With the context being that people like to excuse the Glazers of accountability by saying 'but look how much money they've spent!' It is a nonsensical excuse because, whether or not you want to argue with it being their money or the club's, it is ultimately up to them to put the structures in place to ensure that money gets spent effectively - something that they've completely failed to do.
