Now I've swung back down again
It's worse than it was before
If I hadn't seen such riches
I could live with being poo

Owners have always been questioned because they don't put the money in like other owners. We do have a good transfer committee but even they can't keep pulling rabbits out of the bag.

Why not? Liverpool’s analytics team have researchers with a background in rocket surgery.

dont think that would help to build a football team.

Liverpool's transfer policy has gone down the pan since they stopped hacking City's database.

Evidence would suggest otherwise.

Fair. I think you hit the jackpot with the Coutinho sale and spent it very well unlike the Torres and Suarez money. It will interesting to see if the investment keeps coming in the next few years now that quite a few key players have now passed the 30 mark.

Our transfer team couldn’t even pull a Rabiot out of the hat.

We've actually feked up of late. Come next summer we lose so many on a bosman. Replacing them won't he easy if our supposed budget will all go on Bellingham.

The Coutinho money which I know is a running joke did though help us get the players to challenge City but like you said the squad is ageing and we have either players in 30s or under 21. No middle ground players.

Liverpool have done a pretty bad job of addressing the midfield over the last few years.

These same fans have been doing it for years, even after winning the CL and PL. It's not fickle, it's negativity and many people of today expect everything.

Nowadays they're brought up being told everyone is a winner, from a young age so they expect everything to be the best but that's not how the real world works.

We had two long, hot days at the beach under Busby and Ferguson.

The rest has been a wild swing between a mild Spring day and a total eclipse.

It would do you well to understand the history of our club.

Will I, in my lifetime, ever see United and Liverpool competing at the very top at the same time?

A real title race with them would be the best, and worst, thing ever!

Rafa side when he had Torres, Alonso, Masc to go with Gerrard should have competed better with the Fergies sides. It was just that 1 season where we came close and then we crashed.

That's probably the closest I recall. Even that season though I felt we were always a step in front. You should have built on that afterwards though but fell away.

Liverpool's owners aren't that great tbf. Not as bad as ours as they have at least hired professionals to run the club but they haven't been brilliant with transfer funds.

We have the opposite issue. Plenty in the transfer kitty but not much planning.

There are Spurs fans complaining we are boring Even if it were true, who cares if we are winning , which we are doing far more regularly than we have in the last 3 years!

Ask the know nothings like Kash where in the accounts is there anything to suggest that they are holding back and they go all quiet because they're full of sh!t, arm chair plastics.

Fact is under FSG we're enjoying our best period in Premiership history, it's not even up for debate.
