back. Simple remit. They failed miserably, comically,
and at the expense of the club's standing.

I hope this doesn't nail our season to the relegation
floor. But, it might. Now we have to hope we don't suffer
major injuries. And hope that Glass Bamford can
actually play 90 minutes worth of one game.

And only the three at the top are to blame. Yet again.

Had no problem moving James on to get Gakpo or Dieng etc. But as soon as those fell through, we should have shafted Fulham and pulled James back from any deal. Then again, James probably felt let down by Leeds using him as a bargain chip. Our owners have done well to get us this far but they are clueless chancers that have been outgrown by the club.

Not being funny, but where has Bielsa ever said this?

We tried to get him on the cheap, failed, had bee in bonnet ever since and then try and sign him as a symbol of our persistence but we had nowhere to play him with Harrison and Raphinha already in place.

Was one of stupidest signings at the time and now the exit is just as bizarre.

James was a shocking signing. Yes he runs about a lot, and - this one always tickles me - tries!! But for a club with limited financial muscle, much more is required for almost £30 million.

Luxury player with limited end product.

What we did today was effectively like one of us agreeing to buy a new car on the principle of finding someone to sell ours to, then arrange to collect our new car before someone else nips in and buys it first, only to then agree to sell our car 8 hours later and end up with no car.
