As always it’s all about a reaction. Newcastle Sunday won’t be easy . But we are at home and I expect us to put in a performance and win by a couple of goals

Look solid, give up territory and possession, hit Kane to release someone ….when it works its great but we are getting found out more and more …like jose

Maybe im overacting to a shocker last night but it really was such a bad performance ( result expected) …I hope I am , I want to be really wrong

We can all see we're far from perfect, poor performances and results will happen under any manager, certainly there's no one better out there right now. People calling for Conte's head now are kneejerks imo.

What I don't get is the fact we have seen that type of performance before from last season. We didn't even have a shot on target. Why are people so surprised now?

Yesturday performance will happen again. Get used to it.

What I'm saying is we saw great performances last season where we scored tons of goals and got top 4.

Those performances will happen again. Look forward to it

Agree mate. It is the usual suspects though, so don't take a lot of notice. They only turn up when Spurs lose.

As for a creative midfielder, I've said a couple of times on here that what we really need is Kevin de Bruyne.
Bissouma is turning out to be a disappointment.

Also, Dier is getting undeserved stick on here. He and Romero are our standouts in defence.

As for pusssyfooting around in the penalty area, yes...it shows lack of vision and planning. And its really annoying to watch.

I think Conte must take some blame for yesterday. Is Skipp ready for prime time? He should have been on for Bissouma by HT.

Finally one their goals was the result of a huge deflection, so we really only lost 1-0. But, if they had had any luck at all at other times, it should have been about 5-0.

I’m surprised you consider yesterday a blip and not the kind of mauling our performances thus far have deserved. 6-0 would have flattered us to be honest, let alone 2-0. United had an effort at goal 28 times. That’s roughly every three minutes. It’s astonishingly poor and neither the players nor the manager should blame each other. It’s the fault of everyone at the club, owners, recruitment, players, manager. Everything. Last night was not a one off blip. It’s what we’ve had coming all season.

Also, you referred to 1st and 2nd. 😂 Do you honestly think we’re finishing that high? Mate, we’re not even getting CL. Mark my words.

We marked them in January and you was wrong then.

I have to say I was impressed by how United played, they chased every ball and in all honesty we could have gone in at half time 3-4 nil down and that would not have flattered United
One comment I heard was that Conte’s plan is to conserve energy in the first half by allowing the opposition freedom of possession up to 10 yards outside the box. This should then mean we are fresher than them in the second half supposedly. Think someone forgot to send the message to United players.

Also as a former player at a reasonable level, it is difficult to change mindset in the middle of the match. If you are under the cosh, it requires something dramatic to occur to raise your spirits and levels of play.

Nothing like that happened last night. I am not sure this is a particularly good tactic as we have some very talented players but are asking them to play an alien game to their natural one.

I thought you were done with Spurs, Fridgeboy. So why you even commenting?

Spurs are doing very well. This time last year we had been spanked by Crystal Palace. Now we are in the champions league and top four.

Give conte time. He will be successful.
