Not going to bother writing them.
I have the exact same.
Thought about France, Spain and Croatia but going to stick with these.
At first I thought you were asking about the group winners from unt of the year.

Couldn’t give a flying f*ck.

Hope every team refuses to play and enjoys a month long holiday.

France is the interesting one, they should do well, but the stat about the 5 previous World Cup winners only winning 1 knock out game between them in subsequent tournaments is weighing heavy on my decision making.

And France love an implosion

Climate is going to play an important role in this tournament. That, and whoever comes out on top of the crucial six pointers in the group stages.

Same as you but change

France
Spain
Senegal

I have “laid” a hefty bet on Senegal to get to the semis.👍

Qatar will go through in group A. Senegal with Mane is a huge loss.

Like to see Senegal go far but they don't have to win their group to win your bet.
Netherlands are never as good as I expect them to be but I keep backing them to win the whole thing.

They have a good team but without Mane they might struggle to score

Yes they paid Mane to get injured

I imagine that Qatar will do well defensively but won’t score more than a single goal in the group

In all seriousness, I have my doubts on England getting out the group. We are a mess at the moment, with no tactical organisation whatsoever.

At least half the starting eleven are either not playing regularly or they are totally out of form.

Factor in the heat exhaustion and the general lack of interest in the tournament, I see us on an early flight home.

The last is hard to call. I think Portugal might flop but I don't know how strong the other teams are. Similar with England - wouldn't by surprised at all to see us struggle but if we don't top the group I don't know who is the best bet.

I do worry about England for some of the above reasons and think the quarters is the very best we will manage. But as I said above, I don't know enough about our group rivals to predict going out that early. Might be one of those close groups where all the games are a bit scrappy and nobody gets more than five points.

Well, all group games are six-pointers as it's about the three points you deny your opponent as much as those you get yourself. If we finish with six points, we will likely go through but will have lost a game.

England will pump Iran thus set them up nicely to get out of the group. Had England Iran last, it may have been a different story.
