Fair play to Iran actually turned up for this game. That said wales were dreadful

They fully deserved to win. No complaints here.

Iran showed they could be dangerous against us.. We just punished their defence. They are a decent enough team, i think.

Iran v USA always has potential but it looks like a real crunch game now. If England win tonight, I might skip the Wales game and watch that instead

Lost count of how many times they passed it straight to Iran. Literally every second pass

Result for the Americans as they'll just need to beat Iran to qualify providing they keep the score down against Virtue Signaland. Wales have had it you'd think. Teams will be more open in the second and third games opposed to being cagey in the first.

Not good enough I'm afraid.

It's all well and good saying we're just glad to be there but not done ourselves justice.

The only glimmer is if England win tonight they've won the group and may not be as up for the game on Tuesday as they would. Highly unlikely though and England's squad players are superior to ours. We'd also need USA to beat Iran!

England dropping points in either game is far from impossible but Wales qualifying now does look pretty unlikely, sadly.

Bizarre

End of an era for Wales.

They don't look like they will be capable of getting to this stage again for a while with Ramsey and Bale surely finished.

The goals were coming well before they scored. Iran deserved winners. Not good enough today. We’ve played one good half over the two games.
We can still mathematically get out of the group if England win tonight, but I can’t see us getting the required result in our final game.
