I saw him play for Santos against Bohemians in Dublin when I was a kid. He was only on for the second half and he just seemed to glide over the swamp that was Dalymount Park.
A beautiful man and a magnificent footballer.
For me, he was, is and always will be the G.O.A.T.

There have been many great players over the decades. Maradona, Messi, Ronaldo x 2, Cruyff, Zidane, Best and many more. However none of them were the greatest. That is an honour and title that belong to the one and only Pele.

Pele's heydays were before I got the footy bug, so I hadn't really appreciated the skills he had despite knowing him as being "the best".
That video was quite an eye-opener for me and made me appreciate how he helped mould the modern game. Thanks!
