Don, it's the smart thing to do. Say we announce £135m profit today. If we go to buy another player the selling will add another £10m.

Think about it...

It’s a smart thing to do as it benefits them. You honestly think by announcing the report in Feb will make them spend more? Give it up mate.

I agree with Luka to a degree - don’t want prices getting ramped up. At the same time the world and his wife knows that they are going to show record revenue, record profit and that we can financially compete if our owners want us to.

If Levy ends this window badly he is going to get faaaacking pelters from everywhere because what was once a small minority against him is growing continuously and feels almost 50/50 at the moment. They’ve taken more than they have given and we’re fed up - try to win a faaacking trophy for once

ENIC out/Levy Out

Yeh it would be stupid to divulge huge profits in the middle of a window, clubs would just inflate asking prices thinking we are flush.

If however, come the end of the window we have not improved out first XI and spent some decent money, it will be wholly unacceptable.

ENIC are still full of shiete though and masters at pulling the wool over many fans eyes.

They either need to start spending to make us title challengers or fack off.

Proof will be in the pudding mate !! If they b()gger around as per usual, deliver a couple of crappy loan signings and then announce record profit then then deserve to be hammered (And I'm sure Conte will). If they have a good window, fly bellow the radar, deliver what we all know we need and then announce great numbers... Fair play to them

Personally, I still think we stuck between a "rock & hard place" with this Conte contract stand off and that remains the biggest issue

I have no doubt the club's finances are in great shape post covid but we all know that doesn't mean much given our failings on the pitch over the past 30 years !!!!

That will be the excuse - we didn’t buy a CB to improve our league 1 defence because Conte wouldn’t commit - ignoring that Paratici is the director of football and whoever the manager is will not get a faaaacking thing out of this tuuuurd defence

What winds me up is that Fa cup is there to win. Loads of premier league clubs are being knocked out. Sort out that defence, we could win that trophy. With the current defence? No chance

Yep.... Thats the issue (Not the state of the books) Why would any top player sign for us when the future of the manager is uncertain beyond this year (Whether you like him or not)

I never said we would spend more but I am expecting very good results. No point in bragging about profits in the middle of a window.

If they announced the profits today you would call Levy stupid and rightly so.

Not just FA cup, we’re 2 points off 3rd with Newcastle occupying a spot - they will have proper dips in form. We know how much CL qualification is worth. Additionally, can’t we earn the best part of £10m just for getting past AC Milan in the last 16 - just give him his faaacking defence Levy

The next month will determine the direction of the club for the next 2 or 3 years.... The club and Conte have got to come together and commit to each other or just end this shambles of marriage now

posted on 9/1/23

Players don't care about managers, stadiums, training centre's, CL or owners, pay them enough and they will come.

I reckon we will not sign a defender until the summer unless someone becomes available in January.

The 3 or 4 CB targets we wanted last summer might not be available right now.

posted on 9/1/23

I agree with diamond levy won't spend a fortune on 'conte ball" on for him to possibly walk out in the summer.

We should have identified our areas for upgrades last summer and done it then and said to Conte no excuses now.

Yet Chelsea will spend, Everton, Southampton - Spurs buying competent CB’s is irrelevant to whether Conte stays or not, we can’t keep conceding like we do, we can’t afford for Eric Dier to statistically make more errors than any other defender in the league

Why didn’t we buy them last summer?

These players are always available, if someone offers us £250m for Kane tomorrow then he is gone. We wallop £100m down for Skriniar - yes we’re paying over the odds- but the deal definitely happens.

We’re in Jan and have no signings - seemingly we spent the pre window period doing faack all towards recruitment - again

I read that Spurs are over £1bn in debt.

So it’ll be difficult to spend big in the transfer market tbh.

Strike mug calm down. Skiniar is avilable for free in the summer. He holds the aces. Do you not think we have overpaid on Ndombele, GLC, Sanchez, Emerson and list goes on and on...

Some of you are not thinking rationally because of your anger issues 🤣

----------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s a mortgage with a tangible asset that produces income that shiiits all over the interest and repayment amounts.

The stadium debt is a non factor
