That one looks unlikely. The changing of rules I can't see happening. "Private" owners from Qatar would seem more of a goer. Though how detached they are from the Qatar rulers is anybody's guess

Looking at what's happening to City, I couldn't think of anything worse than some dodgy Middle Eastern billionaire linked to PSG ownership.

This is where these potential buyers stuff a few brown envelopes into UEFA pockets to change some ownership rules

As a curious aside, the possible reintegration of Greenwood into the squad could very realistically come down to pressure (or perceived pressure) from advertisers & commercial sponsors. I wonder if mega wealthy owners coming in would somewhat shield from the short term commercial pressures and facilitate his return?

I'm not arguing for his return in the slightest for the record.

Yes, picture it now, a giant poster running down the entrance of our stadium, The Emir of Qatar stood just behind Greenwood with his hands on Greenwoods shoulders - Welcome to Manchester

Or that WC image of Messi draped in that black cloth, but instead it's Greenwood, ready for his return

A story by Jamie Jackson may as well be a United fanzine.

Story will be dead by next week

Back in 2017 Jamie Jackson called Jose Mourinhos Man United the “new in invincibles” due to having an 18 game run in the middle of the season where they drew 8 and won 10 and were 5th in the league, 17 points off the leaders - the highest ranked team they played in the run was 8th placed Everton.

He is basically Man Uniteds Got Better - accept he gets paid for his dribble

I think you should accept the inevitability of us being pumped full of more money

Whilst I would be very jealous as I wish for it to be Spurs instead, I am not about to lose my schitt at this point because Jamie “invincibles” Jackson said so - He is the Man United version of Sandy, accept he is about 70 years younger (allegedly)

It does seem like it's only a matter of time until all the big clubs are owned by some state or oligarch or American money man, it'll happen to spurs eventually
