If we play Neves and go back to a midfielder sitting between the centre backs, with predictable patterns of play of horizontal balls to fullbacks and slow build up play; then that would be a backwards step.

Neves has to play like the midfield has the last two games to get back in, in my opinion.

How's that not a pen

How are we not being given penalties for that? This is getting ridiculous now.

Not only is he tenacious, he's a baller too.

Looks like we are finally playing the system and players that I have been crying out for, and reaping the predictable rewards.

Good win. Dilemma next week.

Great win, 2 goals scored and a striker on the score sheet! Need to keep this momentum going into a big game next week (might even call it a “proper six pointer”!)

Bournemouth really fighting for their survival, that’s what we’ll need to do in our final games too.

Not seen the game, how was our attitude and application?

Bossed it I’d say.

good throughout. Started bright and kept at it. Didn't just sit back and invite pressure.

One more win will probably do it, toss in a draw or two.

Bloody good performance that, back four and midfield controlled the game again, and so pleased for Costa who was superb, not just for the goal but his all round game was classy today. Really like the mobility of J Gomes and Lemina in the middle with Nunes breaking out and creating havoc too. Does Neves walk back in to this team? Not so sure.

Got to say too that Toti is going to take some prising away from that left back position, he was excellent again today.

No train issues today either but there's no beer in the house at the moment which is an issue I desperately need to attend to...

Hopefully Gem has gotten some enjoyment from Wolves the last few weeks.

And yes Toti did well today. Have to wonder how much threat Bueno or Ait-Nouri would bring in this system though.

Costa was awesome

I was just thinking the same, hope he's been looking in and the performances have been able to put a smile on his face.

Agreed. He’s been greatly missed on here.

One of our own.

Another good performance from the lads today and again Nunes makes MoM for me. These last two matches have proved that we do not have to rely on Neves and I'd be tempted to leave him on the bench next week.

Toti is improving by the game and bar an injury in training, must start again in our next match. No Jimenez or Ait- Nouri on the bench again, which could mean summer departures for both. Very impressed with Costa's performances over the last two games as well. His fitness has improved, which has helped.

Defence had one or two hairy moments, but overall kept Toney and others at bay. Sa made a complete mess coming out to collect and had a few wayward clearances, but then made some good saves.

Beginning to believe that we can avoid the drop now, especially as results have gone our way today.

Well done lads and I hope Gem is getting a tonic from these results.

I think Neves will come back in next week. Rightly so.

I think he will but not sure it should be a slam dunk. Harsh on Lemina, Gomes or Nunes after the last two games as they have been the catalyst for the uptick in fortunes.

I think Neves is our best midfielder but our midfield seems to function better without him at the moment. I'm now comfortable with him leaving at the end of the season if it happens.

The South Bank singing 'Ivan Toney, he had us two nil' was the highlight of the game for me.

Had to explain that to my mate..."what are they singing ?" "Ivan Toney, he's had us two nil", "eh? ". He's only 12 months older than me.
