It might be a great idea to try and take Crimea back during all this potential instability.

He's allegedly marching his troops back to Russia, said to be entering Rostov, claiming he has the bulk of the Russian military on his side and saying they'll destroy anyone who resists.

Yeah, absolutely. Best case scenario is that Putin is decapitated and the new leaders withdraw all troops from Ukraine and Russia ends up licking their wounds and build better relationships with the west.

Probably unlikely.

Wonder if Moscow will fall in 3 days unlike Kyiv was supposed to

Rostov has been taken by Wagner forces

Sounds like a right bunch of cants to be honest but anything they do to disrupt the soviet offensive is a good thing I guess. Sadly he doesn't have any intention of going for Putin.

Peks is so Russian that if you took his head off there would be a dozen smaller and smaller versions of himself inside the rest of the body

It’s so difficult to work out what the actual play is here. Wagner blames the military chief for actually starting the war, basically accuses him of lying in order to trigger Putin.

If there’s any truth in this then that could be dangerous in itself. It will undermine Putin and make him look weak, and we all know he won’t like that one bit…..

It does seem the majority of Russians don’t really have the appetite for this conflict, so the seeds of an uprising are already there. Long term it will likely end the conflict, but short term it could get very bloody for the Russian people.

The mercenary boss who scored Russia its only significant success in months, at Bakhmut, has told the Russian people the whole pretext for the invasion was a lie, that the threat from Ukraine was invented
