I've read this numerous times, and whatever context you want to put it in, whether that's 'how it used to be back then' or not. But the second sentence brings things into present day. So to me reading this multiple times, reads as if you're saying Jews are us but black people are not.

It's why right wingers back them. After 2,000 years of being bandit about the European continent, their appearance had changed from middle eastern to European. They are now seen by some as a white state sorrounded by non white/brown states.
It's a good point because you can't really tell if someone is Jewish just by looking at them unless they're wearing items of clothing/acessories that indicate so which the majority don't do.
Sad that Jews in this Country feel that they can't go out wearing these items at the moment due to possible attacks on them. I think because there's so few that can been identified it's quite an extreme minority that's easily targeted.

Weird view IMO. And simply not true. Especially the second paragraph. Everyone is like us, exactly like us, because they are us. If that applies to Jews then it applies to everyone else too.
Imagine a Jew saying "christians are us, exactly like us, because they are us" when there are so many sects, denominations, churches, races of people from every corner of the planet within Christianity. Christianity is a melting pot.
Would that then not be a weird thing to say? That's exactly what you did there, and tbh it demonstrates a lack of knowledge, understanding or exposure in that what you see Jews as is not what they really are. The image of Jews you are thinking of when making that comment exists only in your head, not in reality.
Jews were dispersed all over the world, not just Europe. 2,000 years is along time. Jews came from the middle east and looked middle eastern. Those that went to Africa now look African a lot. Those that went to Europe look European, and so on. Furthermore, anyone can become a Jew and they have won converts everywhere they've been, like any other religion. Judaism is a religion, not a race or a physical appearance. Can you tell me what Christians look like? Do they look like us or not?

The muslim population has increased 50% over the past decade. The Jewish population which is 1/10th of the muslim population has remained static. The reason that there's more incidents is because there's more muslims year on year. Its like saying car incidents have gone up when there's more cars on the road and calling that a problem.
They are the second largest religious group and are prospering. Try getting your facts in context.

I believe Russians have been bombing people that look similar to them and not those on their Eastern borders. How do you explain that then?

The reason it's so interesting mu52 is because Israel is a democratic state.
So of course these days democratic state = bad, every other country in the Middle East are heroes of course.
It's funny how Jews take so much flack in this Country, but when it comes to people of cultural backgrounds where they don't have things like democracies that's just fine and dandy

Islamophobia, especially in Europe, has grown in leaps and bounds over the last few decades. You used France as an example, so sticking to that it seems there's been a 50% year on year increase in Islamophobic incidents for the last few years in a row.
In fact, I'd say Islamophobia is a much bigger problem than antisemitism in Europe currently. The word antisemitism didn't used to mean what it means now. It used to refer to hatred of middle east people, but now it means hatred of Israel. I'm not even sure what it means anymore as any criticism of Israel is labeled antisemitism.
So my question is, why are you not so concerned about Islamophobia as to make an article about it? Maybe you've made some in the past? Is Islamophobia not as worrying to you as antisemitism?
Considering how much worse Islamophobia is than antisemitism, then I expect at least 10 articles from you on Islamophobia to even things up.
After all, you can't be concerned about one and not the other unless you feel like antisemitism deserves more attention on the basis that Jews look like us.

Weird view IMO. And simply not true. Especially the second paragraph. Everyone is like us, exactly like us, because they are us. If that applies to Jews then it applies to everyone else too.
Imagine a Jew saying "christians are us, exactly like us, because they are us" when there are so many sects, denominations, churches, races of people from every corner of the planet within Christianity. Christianity is a melting pot.
Would that then not be a weird thing to say? That's exactly what you did there, and tbh it demonstrates a lack of knowledge, understanding or exposure in that what you see Jews as is not what they really are. The image of Jews you are thinking of when making that comment exists only in your head, not in reality.
Jews were dispersed all over the world, not just Europe. 2,000 years is along time. Jews came from the middle east and looked middle eastern. Those that went to Africa now look African a lot. Those that went to Europe look European, and so on. Furthermore, anyone can become a Jew and they have won converts everywhere they've been, like any other religion. Judaism is a religion, not a race or a physical appearance. Can you tell me what Christians look like? Do they look like us or not?
Your comment that Jews "are us, exactly like us, because they are us" is a demonstration of this honestly racist modern attitude that Jews would have a European look or "look like us and are us." It's even being perpetrated in Israel itself where all Jews are equal but Jews that look European are deemed more equal than brown or black Jews.

I'm sure you can find material that applies to Europe and other parts of the world for yourself, and don't get me started on the whitening of Jesus Christ. When Christianity was taking root in Europe, they could not have an image of a darker skinned, Arab looking chap with curly hair painted on the roof of their churches and hallowed cathedrals as the messiah.
People at the time would doubt that and reject a messiah who didn't look like them, so he developed blue eyes, straight hair and basically became Jim Caviezel. Much more easier to take in and believe, no?

The muslim population has increased 50% over the past decade. The Jewish population which is 1/10th of the muslim population has remained static. The reason that there's more incidents is because there's more muslims year on year. Its like saying car incidents have gone up when there's more cars on the road and calling that a problem.
They are the second largest religious group and are prospering. Try getting your facts in context.
