Just like Marsh should have been sacked day after Brentford.

I like him, but he's had an overpowered team in a poor league so he's par for the course. Not sure about him.in the prem though.

Not convinced by Farke. Christmas was a poor period where he looked tactically inept and was rescued by, of all people, Bamford. When it’s not going right he has no plan B - other than throw all the strikers on (and not necessarily at the expense of the right people on the pitch). And he can’t get the right first 11 in at the right time. Really like him but can see why he’s failed in the Prem and, let’s face it, this top three battle is like a mini premier league in itself - and he’s been found wanting.

I agree DF has dropped the ball and likely isnt good enough for the PL - though I doubt we will get there now.

As far as I can see, Farke has just one major weakness.
Bamford.

Fcking hope so.

Yes I'd still give him another crack next season as I think he'd at least get us challenging but I'd worry about his managerial capabilities in the EPL if we did get there.

Cut it which ever way you like, two home games against poor opposition and only gained a single point in total and critically ,didn't score with a supposed line up better then most in the division..
Some home fixtures we should have won have been drawn games, hence it's now play off place for us. Can't hide the facts. Sad but true.

Why on earth is anyone talking about Bamford today…he didn’t start and we looked no better.

I’ve not been impressed the last 5 games with Farke but would be madness to sack him and start again. It’s a bit of a freak season - Ipswich are a complete anomaly, Farke has done enough to get this team up 9/10

I don’t think it was in the 49ers plans for Leeds to spend another Heaven knows how many seasons stuck in this dratted league. I wonder what plan B is?

He should have been moved on at least 2 seasons ago. I still hold Bamford’s penalty miss and missed sitter as the main reason we were relegated.

Yes he alone cost us 9 points in the PL last season.. unforgivable

First off, he's sh 1 te. Too many have the blinders on.
He's cost us repeatedly. Robs the club weekly.

Today though, Joseph should've started. Farke chose
to start Piroe. Then, when he could've changed things,
Farke chose to bring on Bamford and not Joseph.

Bamford missed again as he does. Then Farke brought
on Joseph with 10 left + 6 added. Farke fcked this up.
But, his reliance on Bamford's bag of fck all keeps
adding to our impotence. That's how I see it.

Others think Bamford's Lewandowski with a fiddle.

Joseph wouldnt have doen anything today, he needs service.

I like him, think he’s got a chance but he comes on and constantly gives cheap free kicks away, does every single time.

players who dont play, are rated better than they actually are

Don Goodman, though much maligned, did actually nail it when he said one of the main reasons Bristol City were so successful against Blackburn and we weren't was because Bristol used width to turn the Blackburn defence silly so I actually think if we'd played Gnonto instead of Piroe more central with either Anthony or James on the right and Summerville on the left backed up by Firpo and Roberts respectively we'd have been far
more effective and successful.

I thought Gnonto was our best player by far today and Farke should have hooked Piroe after 60mins and even if that was for Bamford although I'd prefer Joseph we'd have at least been more balanced and put Kamara on for Gruev but the final 10 mins was just manic nonsense and very poor from Farke.

When Joseph started v Chelsea he scored. Ten minutes here and there doesn't help anyone. Bamford more or less said the same earlier in the season when he was coming on as a sub

And then there's the dip fcks who keep defending him.

Bamford may charm certain folks, but not me. He fluffs every good chance he gets. I’m not saying he doesn’t do some decent work elsewhere on the pitch but we need goals, pure and simple, and Paddy’s incapable of that right now. His missed chances (including penalties) towards the end of last season cost us big time - we need to learn from past mistakes.

Paddy is one of those players who has purple patches and these have become less frequent he also has injury issues history.

Who on here actually jumped up and down with glee when in August '21 when he was given a 5 year £70K contract. Yes he contributes and holds the ball up in a pressing team but was he really the way forward in the PL?

Proven aggressive consistent goal scorer next time - oh but thats 60M plus!
