Went to Antalya area of Turkey a few weeks ago. Didn't want to be away when the Cup Final was on! Went early this year as Mrs DC is waiting on an operation.

Will probably do a few nights here and there in the locality to places we've not been to for a while. The tent is ready!

I'm not exactly lightweight, I think you have to be under 150kg anyway.

Was at Imola last weekend. Bologna is quite nice, full of young people having a good time. Imola is a lovely town too. Nothing else planned atm, might have a look at another F1 race late season or early next.

My trip;

Ticket: £386 (3 day in Tosa 1 grandstand) GA is excellent and imo, you can get away with not having a grandstand, GA is quite a good price.

Flights: £153

Room: £216 (Smack bang in the middle of a busy area, 15 min walk to the station)

Parking: £79 (Luton Airport mid stay) was 57 at one point but took too long to book.

It was a tough game if I recall. We were always going to beat Belgium in the next round though. For some reason they hate playing us!

We were clinging on a bit. It was crazy we reached the knockout stages, it was when one goal scored would get you through . Of course Bale wa a signifcant difference, but best we could have hoped for was pens.

I fancy doing a wee tour of the Scandinavian countries - always looks like it would be an interesting trip, but as you say, comes across as costing a bob or two

I miss Bale!

I've done all the Scandinavian countries, enjoy Norway best, I've been there twice, once to the others.
This year is New York, going the middle of June, I've never been before so am really looking forward to it.
Except the flights, I never sleep on a plane.
