If you asked Liverpool fans to name their best 11, Elliott wouldn't be in the vast majority of them. In fact he's been fairly heavily criticised by some fans for the defensive side of his game when playing in the midfield 3.
He's an attacking midfielder who hasn't really nailed down a position for his club yet. And this article is talking about making the England squad?! You'd need to have been dropped on your head as a kid to think he's making this squad.
