People stick to what they know at General Elections.
I’d be surprised if Reform get more than 40 seats, the majority of them being Red Wall constituencies
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bo, in reality Starmer shouldn’t have concerns over Reform but he clearly has!
“ What Sir Keir Starmer said in his speech in St Helens today mattered less than the extraordinary fact that he felt the need to do it at all.”
“ The question was asked whether Nigel Farage is “living rent-free in the prime minister’s head”, and it felt rhetorical because the answer was clearly, yes.”
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Putting quotation marks and not quoting the actual author carries as much weight as Reforms economic policies.
Starmer was laughing at the Do-Britain-Down party.

I think they'd be overjoyed at 40 seats. I hope Starmers comments today encourages greater journalistic scrutiny of Reform.
4 years to the next GE, one of the opposition parties is likely to implode before then
It's a hard call between the Tories and Reform as to which one it might be, I reckon right now its the Tories, but swap out Badenoch then it's all to play for and once the Reform councillors start getting comfy, anything could happen.
If Reform were to take 40 seats at the next GE, the polling and recent LE results suggest that it’d primarily be at the expense of the Tories, and not Labour.
Swings from Labour to Reform aren’t going to result in Labour losing any seats. If Labour do indeed lose seats to Reform, it’ll be a result of them losing their voters to the Lib Dems and Greens.
One things for sure, I think we’ll see a massive turnout of voters next election. Still along time to go though.
My one prediction is though reform will shiiiit out big time.

"Leave a lot to be desired"
Sir Keir is correct, Truss-esque, the former darling of grassroots conservatism, outlasted by a lettuce, and Nige is following in her footsteps. Yeah, panic stations, those 411 seats are all under threat from Reforms political pygmies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he’s not worried in the slightest! 🤣
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I basically agreed with what Starmer said, and then pointed to the fact that Keir's panicking over his plunging popularity and he just responds with aggression and a strawman

More deflection isn't going to help him.

Exactly. He's just trying to point score.
Reform need proper scrutiny. Farage is dirty, I think we all know it and kudos to him for so evading being caught. Tice looks like a 90s Blairite junior secretary and he's baw deep with the gulf states, gives off right "the lady doth protest to much" vibes when he goes off on net zero, performative puppet.

"It is still less than a year after winning a majority of 174 seats in a sweeping general election result last year, yet Sir Keir felt the need to attack the leader of Reform UK which - checks notes - only has five MPs.
The question was asked whether Nigel Farage is “living rent-free in the prime minister’s head”, and it felt rhetorical because the answer was clearly, yes.
Sir Keir is not alone in feeling what can only be described as a rising sense of panic on the left."

Implosion is coming for Labour. No brainer Rayner is soul bent on power she won’t let up. She’s thinks she knows better than rach from accounts as per the leaked email.
They better hope she fails though, it would be the epic destruction of the Labour Party.
