I'm more angry with the failure to award a penalty for the foul on Hojlund

Yes. Those controlling VAR are utterly ridiculous.

VAR cannot advise a yellow card, can only advise to downgrade a red.

Would be good if blatant play-acting was punished, but they will say there was contact so can't call it cheating.

The foul itself was a deliberate, borderline yellow.

Yellow was probably for the foul, Hojlund for confronting in an aggressive manner.

He did a last man foul last season on Rashford that was a clear red card and it ended up coming to a Man City equaliser.

Its baffling how it wasn’t given.

Yes it was a clear penalty on Hojlund, VAR are laughable.

There was a similarly clear penalty yesterday for Villa, described as a “fleeting” pull on the shirt.

What's more laughable was the commentary, I don't think that's enough in a derby for a pen, as if that should matter what so ever

kaz Dean hates Man Utd so it wasn’t a surprise he backed up Taylor lol.

Mugs like Mike Dean make it worse. The bloke literally refused to tell Anthony Taylor to look at a hairpull because he wanted to 'protect his friend' when he is VAR, so why would we expect him to discuss the same refs decisions in a neutral manner?

posted on 15/12/24

He wasn’t sent off because cheating is now acceptable in the game, and pretty much every single player doesn’t it.

Sadly.

Ha I was saying the same during the game, could’ve been booked three times. Should’ve been,

For a player of Kyle's level of experience I'd imagine he might be well embarrassed by what he did? Or I'd at least expect so?

Just in case no one can see the post on X:

"Imagine being Kyle Walker & having to go home and look your family in the eye after that. Twice."

He’s on a completely different moral compass, Piff.

Exactly. If that’s how you’re making your decisions, you shouldn’t be refereeing professional football matches.

I’m totally baffled, every angle shown indicates it was 100% a penalty , what is the actual definition of a foul?
The defender didn’t play the ball, went to ground taking the attacker with him, thus preventing the attacker from progressing, if I had any hair I’d be tearing it out.
