assuming i get there, i think that'll be my first new country in nearly 4 years !
Loved Kenya when I visited, did all the touristy safari stuff and then finished in Mombasa which was awesome
am hopefully flying into mombasa and am probably gonna stay there 4-5 days over my birthday before going up to lamu. i thought it looked pretty decent but that's good to hear
i wont be doing the fancy safaris you did though !!!
The people in Kenya (in my experience) are some of the friendliest and best I've ever come across. I thought they were even more approachable than Tanzanians - who are also very welcoming.
yes 99% of tanzanerians are extremely friendly people
But that sounds fun J, I leave the UK in 12 days time to move permanently to the US.
What you filling your final days with?

All I know is that if you want Chow Mein (as we English Ave it) order Lo Mein.
Never order fish and chips.
Tbf he’s lived there before so I imagine it’s all home cooked fresh stuff all the way rather than the over seasoned over sauced over everything usual stuff you might get over there
Wonder how much J is stinking right now
I don’t think he has wowed a crowd/ livened up an entire town/village/nation for a while.
It’s time to put up or shut up on the Go-Pro idea.
Sort it aaat sann.

Sorry about that lads. My entertaining flung villages/ski slopes days are over though I fear. I had thought that I could still muster a colourful turn of phrase, but perhaps not.
I was actually about to ask a serious question though, which is if you were overseas and were on day 3 of what seems like a cold, but had done a negative rapid self test, would you risk having a PCR done ?
the villages were far flung btw, not merely flung
Seriously though all the best Edin. Takes courage to do that, but sure you'll be settled in and enjoying life in no time
Hope we'll still have you on here but obvs a minor consideration.
Back on the minibus.
First stop I would estimate we have picked up 40 6 year olds.
And we are still stopping to pick big people up
They've all piled off except for one lad who's stayed on on his own. #lad.
