I think my issue is that the final didn't show any sign that Ange's standard system suddenly works. He set up in completely the opposite way against a toothless, out-of-form side and ground out a win. That's great - genuinely - but I don't see anything to indicate he's suddenly able to succeed with his system over the course of a full league season. He's not going to go all-out defence for 38 league games plus Champions League, considering he's built an entire career on gung-ho Angeball.

All very well going on vibes because no doubt the squad is on a massive high right now, and rightly so, and it's certainly not an easy decision. But I think the best thing would be for Ange to walk with head held high and a nice fat £2m bonus in his pocket.

Of course it's valid to doubt whether Ange is going to turn it around in the league. As others have rightly said, as we've all said, there's no hiding from the fact that's been sheit this season (though there are a few mitigating factors tbf)

But it doesn't make sense to me what you're suggesting, that he's suddenly going to play park the bus football all season cos he won a cup with it. I feel like Ange is getting it from both ends here - he doesn't change and he's a stubborn idiot. He does change and then that's bad too. Maybe he's just learning?

Except that’s nor what my hatred and disappointment is about.

I can’t remember a season I’ve enjoyed less, the endless defeats, the football, the managers arrogance and stubbornness, and I blame him and I resent him for it, and even winning the Europa hasn’t taken that feeling away, because it’s just papering over the cracks.

I’ve been watching all the celebrations on social media and Sky Sports and whilst I’m happy for the players, I’ve personally not felt any emotion.

Still, that’s my problem and I guess I’ll get to have MY celebration when he finally f*cks off out of our club, whenever that may be.

I’ll be honest here I feel sorry for you because the last few days has been the best spurs feeling I’ve had in 40 years of supporting them.

Nothing comes close to it.

Watching the parade and seeing 220k fans be so happy after let’s be honest how rubbish it’s been for the majority of supporting this club.

I kinda get where you’re coming from regarding the manager I absolutely hate Jose and not sure how I’d feel if we won with him.

I was probably one of first who doubted Ange back as early as last season but I’m not letting any bad feelings get in way of this.

I have to say I absolutely hate how you’re degrading the competition though. It’s elite and and hard one to win.

Just look at how many managers we have had fail in it and look at previous winners. Also it’s a banging trophy and I will say it it looks better than the UCL.

I do hope in a few weeks you’ll sit back and just see the pictures and videos and think wow.

You said you don’t want the match thread so I’ll take it back. Shoot Admin a messsge and I’ll do the same.

Got some plans for it for the summer.
