I recall that one of the years I was living in St Petersburg in the 1990s, Zenit (this was before Russian football was awash with dodgy money) were statistically the most boring team in Europe's top leagues, based on Barry's metric.

There is usually one of these sides sitting in a decent position in a league, like 8th in a 20 team league. It used to be Preston a lot I seem to remember.

But there seems to be a lack of these teams in recent seasons, with more of an emphasis on trying to concede hilarious goals from playing out from the back to go with scoring more at the other end as a result of the opposition conceding a hilarious goal from playing out from the back.

Also, I discussed with JJ from The Athletic/Tifo and he is going to do a video on it if Dundee do indeed go top of this list after the match with Aberdeen. I suggested doing a countdown of the top 10 or 5, down to 1 and revealing Dundee as the most entertaining. The perfect "the result will SHOCK you" click bait nonsense but it will be fun. So look out for that.

I already mentioned that Dundee were involved in back to back 6 goal thrillers. Even the likes of Bayern rarely manage that.

If you're looking for the most boring team, don't bother it's Burnley.
