When they get their erse handed to them on a platter by Frankfurt I would expect Spurs to pull the trigger. If the first leg of the Frankfurt tie next week results in Spurs being effectively out of the tie after 90 minutes, it will get toxic.

Not my view at all. We were toothless going forward. We constantly had balls over the top to worry about. Our midfield was non existent. We couldn't keep the ball. Couldn't pass forward with any conviction. Lost pretty much every tackle or second ball.
It was appalling. It was as bad as the sky pundits made out. It was gutless and of poor quality. We were second best on every single area and 1-0 was not a reflection of the game whatsoever.
I am embarrassed by lastnight performance. I shouldn't be, as it's the norm now.
Apparently under Ange we play a high intensity game. We don't. We play dull, boring football. We don't press well. We don't move the ball quickly.
This manager is the worst I think we have had in my lifetime. Granted, the players aren't up to it. But a good coach can make up for some of that.
The bloke is an absolute fraud and i will celebrate when he is gone. That's what iv resorted to and I don't like being like that

I just don't get where the team's energy has gone. You could see a more triggered press at times but it was far from a uniform press and a lot of the time its a press only by name, closing players down looks a bit of a token effort, rather than a physical aggressive approach, and a one hoof over the top caused frequent problems with both Romero & VDV being too weak at times.
In possession it was largely clueless, pedestrian, let them get back in shape, and predictable. Chelsea were far from great but they showed how to hit against a high line, worked the ball around the box well when in possession, but also did what a lot of teams do (and we never do) which is pin the opposition back and then lay it backwards for a wide player to put in decent balls into the box under no pressure. We lack these patterns and variations.
Said it loads now, if we just went back to playing our super aggressive attacking football we may let in some goals, we may drop some points, but we'd unsettle the opposition and change the whole momentum of games. Its not the long term solution, but it would get us through the rest of the season with more chance of winning games, proper Angeball before Angeball is sent packing.
I'd take Jürgen klinsmann right now til end of the season. He might be able to lift the crowd at least

The frustration is that we have Frankfurt and likely Lazio standing between us and a cup final. Whilst still very difficult, I would give a competent manager a good chance of getting us through - I would settle for losing to Southampton on Sunday if it meant we sacked this clown on Monday and Brought Terzic in until the end of the season - just someone to lift the place, inspire the players to perform better and play proper football

Yep, good side. The glimmer of light for us is that they have been out of form since Jan only winning 3 of their previous 9 league games, 2 draws and 4 losses. They are definitely beatable
i see no merit in bringing in someone until the end of the season. It doesn't change a thing. If you are a team desperate to avoid relegation then a new man can bring energy and usually some improved defensive displays achieved through simply parking the bus and holding shape, dont get beaten
That's not what we want as it would not get us through European games which we need to win. Playing more progressively takes a ton of work on the training pitch.
