I think the attractiveness of snooker as a profession to young UK folk faces a lot of barriers - requires good deal of dedication and time, darts seems to have taken over as the 'sport' to be in, in comparison. It feels like with its resources and infrastructure, China really is the hotbed of talent. Maybe needs more investment into young academies etc

Stan Moody isn't even exciting. Everytime I watch him he takes forever on shots. I would have thought Murphy would have taught him to play more fluently.

Same here it always feels so empty when the World championship ends.

Just back from my weekly 8 ball pool, even managed a full clearance. Funny after watching the snooker you think you can play like them

Im just back from a few frames myself, potted 4 in a row a couple of times 😂. I potted a couple of delicious long straight yellows and pinks, but missed a bucket load of sitters.

Masters at the Crucible, World championship at the Ali Pally, can't see a new Crucible being built in 2 years

Quite happy with a refurbished Crucible and it staying there. Although if it gets to the point where the majority of the Top 16 are Chinese, then I feel it would be inevitable it is played out there, even if they did it in alternate years.
