I’ve literally never heard of them, so hoping that’s a good thing.
Bunch of Reindeer Farmers who play in the Artic circle on a snow covered synthetic pitch. Seriously it's a lose/lose situation.
I'm being flippant but I can visualise the headlines and the excuses if Spurs lose the tie and don't turn up on the night at their place.
Can't believe you've never heard of them. They've been playing European football for several years and are clearly learning as they go along. Their synthetic pitch gives them an advantage in my opinion. Lazio lost up there 2-0.
Don't ask me the temperature when you're up there
They have produced some really good results at home, so it probably won't be easy there. However they don't generally travel well. It could be very important to be going into the second leg with a lead to defend.
taken over from Rosenberg as the leading Norwegian club
Rosenberg in the late 90s/early 00s became quite a force in European football
got through to the CL quarters as I remember one year
in 97/98 the year R Madrid won their long awaited 7th title, Rosenberg were the only team to beat Madrid that season in the CL (a group match)
Yeah, their home record is very good. Scored 5 against Twente, beat Olympiacos 3-0, Lazio 2-0, Porto 3-2.
Lost 3-2 at Old Trafford.

ange knows them.
He faced them with celtic in the europa conference league last 16. They beat us home and away and are a well organised team that exploit pace.
Will be a tricky tie but you should win it
Also, their domestic season runs from April so they are at the start of their campaign.

Is the first leg in Norway or London?
I fancy you take get through but don't underestimate them. They have beaten some fairly big clubs to get here.
Best Ange's Celtic 5-1 over two legs not too long ago as well.
Hopefully see you boys in the final. 👍
If we play like we can then we should be in the final. It's as simple as that and has been that way in this competition since the draw.
Think you'll need a 2 goal lead to take to Norway. Ange has been up there before with us (Celtic) so has experience of their pitch. They beat us twice in the Conference league.
Worst thing you could do is take them lightly. It's a lose/lose tie for Spurs.
Are lose/lose another team in their division?
TBF when they beat Celtic 25% of the squad had done their hammys from Ange's (funda)mentalist blitzkrieg tactics and 25% were missing because we let half the squad go in the summer and never replaced them. Throw in COVID and he had to play academy debutants and the like. It was a shambles but gives the other half of the city a laugh.

Without being unkind. I think Spurs are a bit better than Celtic. I would be very surprised if Spurs failed to beat Bodo over two legs. I can see something like a 4-0 home win, and a 2-0 away win. Lazio probably disrespected them in the 1st leg, then had the game, and then blew it. I don`t think Spurs will let that happen.

I can seeTamworth all over again
I agree you will need to beat them well at home imo. They will beat you at home. They beat the league phase winners 2-0 but should've won by 5.
Need a 2 goal win at home and then we should train on a synthetic pitch until the away leg. Then do we prefer a lucky Man U or Bilbao at home?

Personally would prefer a very average United side. Spurs are pretty much better than them all over the pitch. Agreed United are a lucky side, but Spurs should be beating them in a final. Bilbao I don`t know that much about.

You just know that we will have beaten Man U three times and then they will win the one that matters. They just find a way. Bilbao are a decent team and I would love Nico Williams to replace Sonny but think we could win a one off game.

I think we should train at Raith Rovers for a few days before the away leg: synthentic pitch, colder and similar size grounds with 8k capacity.
We need to be as prepared as we were last night. None of this ‘glad it’s not Lazio’ nonsense. They deserve to be there as much as we do and need to treat them with respect. Get the job done. We can’t just turn up. We have to turn up with intent.

Well as someone said Ange has lost twice to them already so hopefully he will get it in the players heads that they are in for a fight.
