Promotion one star from me.. reads bitter..
also, not sure 'a little fish like Forest' sits well either, seems so Leeds blinkered.
Forest draped in history, a little like ourselves.. have been in the dark ages for a long time, a little like our selves... of course we have differences.. but I think Leeds fans, well you promo, should show a little more respect to Forest.
never really understood financials of football clubs, just a boat load of ponces moving figures around on a balance sheet, so can't comment too much... but I'm fully hoping they get top 4.. would be amazing for them, and a part of me thinks the fans deserve it more than anything.
call me sentimental, but the Forests of this world deserve their dream moments of CL football again..

Very poor article, and shows a lack a knowledge, what actually happen.
They scraped through the play offs, first on pens in semi’s and then a scrappy win in final. Pretty grim side.
Vital loan players went back, and virtually bought a new squad, owner is a complete nutter, and it was just a crazy madness, but somehow, kept them up with 11 points in last 6 games.
It was pure and utter gamble, with no logical or method.
Is that what you want us to do ?
We need four/ five starters, really good quality, and we will be fine. That should easily be within budget

I'd be looking to spend sizeably on a striker, keeper, 10, winger, and left-back, and then looking at cheaper, more experienced options for centre-backs, centre-mid, and right-back, personally.
Should be able to recruit all we need for circa 120 million, I think.

Punishment did seem lenient, but then you see clubs like Man City who have clearly made a mockery of the entire system, with zero punishment and a hoard of trophies.
Do it the right way or don’t bother at all.

Nothing gives me greater pleasure than Bournemouth for example doing very well, it's the dream of football.
Pity there can't be a fairer financial leveller. As for Palace, brilliant they won the FA Cup

Forest let the league what they were doing every step of the way. They openly stated that yes, they could take the £35m from Spurs and stay compliant, but want to wait for more, meaning they missed the deadline by about ten days.
The points deduction was incredibly hard, especially when you see the likes of City oppose information requests at every turn.
To say Forest cheated is erroneous at best,

Yep, fair enough, it isn’t … yet. I shouldn’t speak for Promotion but my guess is that this (alleged) corruption/cheating is what he was referring to … and I have to say I agree with him. Caveat - if Man City are found to be innocent, I will take it back (or accuse the ‘judges’ of subterfuge😁).
