I’m also quite unsure as to who “Klerson” is, pretty certain we don’t have any posters under 13 years of age, and believe that Al Hilal have bid in the region of £80m for Fernandes, rather than £80m.
Otherwise, a well-researched and thoughtful article.
I think if they get close to a bid of £100m, Utd will accept the offer and then that gives Bruno the perfect 'out' to leave as he can say the club clearly thought he wasn't worth keeping over £100m.
If this is what it takes to land 3-4 quality players this summer then sacrificing a soon to be 31 year old and an inconsistent Garnacho then so be it.
If they spend it on more unproven dross though then the game is up for INEOS.
Kleberson? Have a rest son

That's my concern, that we'll replace Bruno with more sub-standard players and manage to get even worse.

Would be horrible on the face of it I agree..... But that would only accelerate the sale of the club. How would they ever recover from that? Selling our last player of any real value and wasting it really would be the end for them.
It's a huge risk however I think if we can get them to go as high 110m then we should probably take it. Can't see the rebuild amounting to much at all without any player sales.

Why would it be up for INEOS and not Ruben who will be the one having the final say on any transfer that gets made ?
Do you honestly believe that Ruben would spunk 100 million on absolute dross if he is this great manager that everyone keeps saying he is?

Why are you so fixated on it being Ruben? He wants here when we signed Ugarte, Zirkzee, De Ligt etc?
Do you think last summer was a successful window for us? How is that anything to do with Amorim?
INEOS have already had two massive balls ups with Ashworth and ETH. You're so hell bent on pinning all this on a guy who took over in November. Absolutely hilarious.
Lol.
The board clearly wants him to stay and have trusted him.
Why would they then go and spunk millions on players he doesn't want?

Most likely because I don't think he will get the final day on transfers. We've probably moved away from what happened under Erik. I'm sure Ruben will be consulted but I don't think he's the one drawing up the shortlists.
I do feel like you're just being a bit silly now when it comes to Ruben. You're well within your right to be disappointed with results and performances but this squad being an absolute shambles isn't on him.

Why would Ruben choose to stay if he wasnt told that he'd have some leverage over the transfers?
