And it happened without Mbappe. Real struggled after signing him and PSG flourished.

Their final against Inter was quite close, and if Lukaku wasn't so abject in that game they could've easily won.

Inter were rubbish. Their left back should have been substituted 45 minutes earlier.
PSG were great, the game, worst final ever.

It was one sided but PSG were great to watch. I preferred watching last night's game to a couple others over the years.

There won't be a dynasty.

Arsenal won more games in the CL than PSG this season. If the competition really was the Champions LEAGUE then you'd all be talking about how they were only good for half a season, but because it's a cup competition, they got lucky and played us at the right time when we had injuries. We beat them when we had our best players available.

If it wasn't for our injuries we'd have won the CL this season.

As hilarious as your comment is, I do not like the new CL format at all.

They will take some beating that's for sure. I don't see anyone in the PL stopping them next year so it will come down to how much Madrid and maybe Barca can improve.

The biggest issue for them is keeping the team together. Of course winning the CL is great, but the league is your bread and better, and assuming they dominate Ligue 1 as they have been, it would be natural to want to try out the top Spanish clubs or EPL ones after a few seasons.

They have been great this year, but it can change so quickly, especially in a cup competition. Not quite a fairytale story, but nice to see a different team win it.

At the end of last season you wouldn’t have seen them winning the CL this season.

That is how quickly football can change. Someone who has watched football as long as you have should really know that by now.

Just to reinforce my point no one saw City fall off a cliff in one season the way they did.

They battered arsenal. Should have been far more than the score suggested

Bayern were the last team to dominate the CL season and final.
I can see Barcelona being their main competition over the next couple of seasons. Hopefully anyway as that'll be a great watch.

Manchester United have a lot of great young players.

Maybe the next great Dynasty will be the Carrington Dynasty?

Never lost a game rhe whole tournament. Won their last 16, qf and sf by scores of 8-1, 4-1 & 5-1 beating bayern madrid and inter along the way.

Not sure what more a team can do to prove dominance personally but each to their own.

That’s fair, sonehow seems less impressive though.

If we sign Wirtz, Kerkez etc then we could challenge them next year, our games were very close run things and we definitely were not at our best.

Add Wirtz to us and we go up a level or two tbh.

Their final compared to psg's last night probs takes the shine off it. What psg did last night was rare though. Dont see many finals like that.

Their run to final, as good as they were, isnt as impressivs as citys. Pens in last 16. Hanging on for dear life at villa park. Dont get me wrong they were the much better team in both them ties but they had to really work to get over the line in both.

You mean like the famous Dynasty was a Carrington Dynasty? We should get a bloke called Blake to become our manager.

With their resources they should be there or there abouts every season. For the first time they’ve realised they don’t need superstars and a balanced XI who are each committed as the next is of far greater importance. Isn’t there a new Parisian side that have got promotion to Ligue 1 whose owners are even richer than PSG’s? No idea if they’ll be allowed to buy their way to success the same way PSG have.
