Rather keep Ange than have Frank, when the first choice defence played together we were solid.

The players backed him, dressing room was good, could understand if he had lost the dressing room which says a lot.

a brave decision but the right one

thought Levy wouldn't have the stones after the final as the best way to keep himself out the firing line would have been to keep him in the job

it became pretty obvious this time last week he was leaving so I'm pleasantly surprised he's made the hard call

they're professionals under contract and he was their boss at the end of the day

I’m really unsure on it all. League form deserved two sackings, let alone one but he won us a cup. I just don’t know. I wouldn’t want to be Thomas Frank right now. Not the best welcome from the fans and the players.

Yeah part of me is thinking they love him but the other part of me is thinking why do they love him? True winners wouldn’t back a manager that left us in 17th. It speaks more of their lack of ambition as a collective.

Think Romero might have gone either way anyway.

Honestly this club....we just never get things quite right.

Always a shadow looming somewhere.

Rather have kept Ange for another season and got Poch in next summer

Yeah but if we’d lost that final everyone on here would be clamouring for him to go.

I get it seems a bit harsh, I’m in two minds as he delivered a trophy so possibly eating the right to start next season, but most of the season was a shambles.

As you've always said Fridge, the league performance is a better representation of a manager's ability.

The cup win is good and all but it's as much fine margins as it is Ange using tactical nous and over only a few games.

Anyone thinking Mbeumo hasn’t signed for united yet cos frank has told him to wait for us?
