Great spending on the front 3. If we get Belabalaba then it will be a pretty damn good window.
Though for a supposedly skint club, you have to wonder where this money came from

A CM and a keeper would make this a great window.
We don't need a defender ‐ we have enough of those.
posted 1 week, 4 days ago
Cant complain about the quality of the 3 signings.
If I was being very picky Id have preferred just one of Cunha / Mbeumo though and for us to spend the money on a CM like Baleba or Wharton.
posted 1 week, 4 days ago
Happy with Mbeumo and Cunha. Haven’t seen enough of Šeško to form a real opinion but he’s highly rated so we’ll see how it turns out.
Outgoings, Sancho, Antony, Garnacho, Malacia, Hojlund, Bayindir. So the obvious ones really. Plenty of players I’d consider letting go with the right offer. Onana, Maguire, Dalot, Shaw, Martinez, Casemiro, Ugarte, Mount.
We need another GK and CM in an ideal world.

It always feels a bit nice when you’ve got new signings to give you hope.
But we’ve seen so many top players perform so badly at United, it’s hard to focus more on whether the managers style has any success at all, rather than individual players.
I felt they needed to recruit good players that have Prem experience, so on that level things have been fairly good.

Im happy they’re good players and versatile too, so should be good for the next manager in a new system if this doesn’t work out.

Get donnarumma and the midfield dude and it’ll be an amazing window

Very good buys.
Players I really want to shift are
Garnacho, a sulky boy who wants his own way.
Sancho not good enough, in fact not even close.
Players I want to keep
Lisandro a la bûcher
Ugarte, pretty decent and a trier.
Rasmus, as above, plus he's said he wants to stay and fight for his place. Top marks from me.

Oh, and miles better than I expected. I thought we would be in the bargain basement, or just one signing.

Martinez has been pretty damn average since his injury in his 1st season. Not sure Amorim’s system suits him either.

How people see different things. I thought he was really good, especially taking the ball forward and choosing a good pass.

So far in the pre season games our new signings look like cardboard cuts out of Rashford and garnacho.
They haven't offered anything extra.
I expected them to be busting a gut trying all sorts during games that don't really matter but they've been fairly timid.
Don't have that high hopes to be honest. The shiiiiittyy 5-2-3 formation doesn't do any of our players any favours

That’s his strength but defensively he gets caught more than ever in this systems. Getting dragged wide doesn’t suit him.

I think if you said that we would have a new 3 pronged attack, you wouldn't have believed it. And of course we need at least a GK, CM, and I think a ball playing CB also, but for me there is certainly more expectation that when Rasmus, Zirkzee and Antony arrived - probably more because I had less knowledge of them, whereas we know that 2 out of the 3 this season have shown they can do it in the EPL.
Of course we want more, we always want more, but it seems churlish to complain about our business so far
