Remind me of Ipswich last year. Think they’ll give it a good go, have a good chance if the signings all work.
Xhaka in particular is a real statement of intent.
We need 1/2 marquee signings in the final third to compete.
What to watch today,
Only 3 games to play,
Brighton versus Fulham,
Maybe a bit of Tott'ham,
Or Sunderland - West Ham,
Some have had a good summer,
Some it has been a bit of a bummer,
Sit back and enjoy,
But one question ol'boy,
Why do you post in such stanza?

Yh the Ipswich comparison is a fair one. Think they might replicate Forest when they stayed up and rely on home form

Big part of lasts season's team all on bench.
Impressive summer by them. See if it works.
I see why we wanted Diarra. Wow.
Burnley might already be relegated

Lineker thought they'd stay up. Ha.
Rumours we're in for Ermedin Demirovic.
Was not impressed by Burnley's summer work.
Can't stand them as a club or team.
Just realized Ward-Prowse is starting for WHU.

Last seasons Burnley probably beats this seasons. Genuinely think they’ve got worse.
West Ham getting control of this game now.
Sunderland's first 15 minutes on fire has died a bit.

Agree with that. They might make Southampton's
efforts last season look good.
Looks like El Khannouss is off to C.Palace which I think a lot suspected so probably leaves Leeds targeting Okafor and or Solomon and maybe Demirovic too for the extra forward but the options are narrowing by the day and I can still foresee Sargent, who scored again today,
being the if all else fails option especially if Mitrovic is out of reach....Jason seems to be almost a done deal
Hell of a save by Sunderland's keeper.
Should be 1-0 WHU.
Macca, I've felt for a while (as our targets said no)
that we'd end up with Sargent as a transfer and
Solomon on loan. That would be disappointing.
Sunderland on the back foot now.
WHU might not be a top Prem side. But they are savvy.
Like Fullkrug. Bit of a handful.
Sounds like Burnley are not exactly getting outclassed but probably not unsurprisingly don't have the ammunition to breach EPL defences which is the challenge Leeds and Sunderland face. Put Mitrovic in any of the 3 promoted sides and I think he goes a long way to solving that dilemma
I'd love Mitrovic. Wanted him at Leeds quite a while.
Paqueta and Bowen are moving through Sunderland with ease. Looks like their first 20 minute game plan
didn't work out. They look a bit deer in the headlights
right now. WHU in control.
Diarra is the bright spot for Sunderland. Player.
