Yesterday's man, is this a wum? Never liked him as a manager of the club. He use to provide entertaining quotes etc in the early days, but in recent times I have found myself disliking him more.

He’d be better than Amorim

posted 6 days, 2 hours ago

Never, never, never, never, never.
He will sell all the young players and sign old players instead in order to win immediately. And things go wrong, he starts attacking his players and then his bosses publicly in order to get sacked and run with a fortune. This man is disgrace.

Never go back as they say.

Also Jose's great aura that he had has gone now and there's no much left behind. He had his time and left a fairly good mark on the game but his time has well and truly gone now.

I think we're more likely to appoint a fairly current PL manager next. Iraola, Glasner, Nuno, Marco Silva etc.

Tip top criteria for hiring a new manager, Robbsie.

Mourinho didn't play 4-3-3 when he was at United.

Amorim apparently has the lowest win ratio of any Manchester United manager in our entire history now. That takes some doing.

This club man....will definitely send me to an early grave.

Was thinking about this earlier but more in the terms of: if utd sack Amorim who do they bring in for the rest this season? Do they do the same thing as last year and she'll out compensation on another manager, or do they get an interim?

That’s a good shout. Temporary until end of the season and see how it goes. Something needs to change.

What did Amorim mean when he said “some things you don’t know about have happened in the last few weeks”?

I wouldn't want him back. I still feel as though United were at it's Post Fergie lowest when he was in charge.

The football we played was absolutely dire.

Watching United for 2 hours with Jose as boss was like being made to watch paint dry for 2 hours every few days

posted 6 days, 1 hour ago

Not to mention players being called out by him every other game and his frequent outbursts. It was all just too negative for me

No thank you.

I'm United through and through. Not just in the length of my being a fan, but buying books, going to, maybe a hundred away games.
But, it's a game, great though it is, it shouldn't beat the rest of your life.
Of course we are not always number 1, but neither is any other team. So, as the old saying goes
" Get a life " to some over serious posters.

In fairness to Jose I think the football we played at times in his first season was some of the best we've seen post Fergie. Not a high bar, admittedly, but thought we olayed well at times and just couldn't finish! Sounds familiar!

Yes, I've noticed my typo there which could apply to the manager we got after Jose!
