If you watch the vidoes of the protests its a broader church of youths, younger, middle aged and older adults. Males and females too. Mostly all white, agreed.

I think the middle aged men he's referring to are the ringleaders like Tommeh etc. IMO they're the ones driving this and the young disaffected youth and the older, perhaps more colonial-friendly, older people are following him.

It still comes as a shock to people that middle class, better spoken than the typical monosyllabic grunting, home counties crowd are capable of holding racist views or being racist.

I never understand people stating that politics shouldn't be a topic for them. I'd argue that the reverse is true. Politics should interest us all. Then you get a more informed electorate. Although probably some parties want to keep people ignorant.
