on the subject of presents, my ex always used to say 'nothing' when i asked what she wanted for every birthday/xmas... one birthday i got up, said happy birthday and buggered off to work.

by the time i got home she was in a right huff, so i went walking into the bedroom, got her present and told her the next time she said nothing, that's what she'd get. she never did again.

on a side note... how many people here actually believe in the guy who's birthday you'll be celebrating on 25th december?

You don't have to be psychic to understand women you just have to pay attention.

When they say they want nothing for their birthday they actually mean that they've been hinting all year and if you don't know by now you never will.

When they say "I don't mind" it means they have a very strong preference and if you love her you'd already know what it is.
