And do you wish to dispute whether a PL clubs wages bill is a Pareto distribution ??
They are jealous of City's success....

To be honest I only really focus on my own club! to have an obsession with another club is unhealthy

That's coming from a poster who go to Championship boards to wum on in his busy days...
They all get paid too much, everyone of 'em
THREAD CLOSED!
Most clubs have a ratio of somewhere between 50/60% wages to Revenue. City's is 107%
Maybe they're not bothered about CL football as long as they beat United in the league?

I think you were quiet after beating Arsenal 3-2 at the Emirates?
Tell you what, we can do much of this for free.
----------------------------
Like I said in my previous post to you, go and do it then. And then get back to us.
Pretty much a standard result now Mitchy
Agreed.
You try and get Citehs' wage bills (as recently as you can) .
I'll do similar with the PLCs' headcount.
We'll meet back here and do the necessary with the two figures.
I don't think any of us give a monkeys to be honest RDBD.
Living in a city where your inundated with the constant success of Utd and the ridiculously hyped utd machine it's just nice to be have something to shout about. If it
goes pearshaped in a few years, what will we have lost?Oh how I miss the constant relegation/promotion battles and the constant derision.
Oh how I'd rather have Jamie pollock running our midfield than David Silva.
Whinge as much as you like chaps,we don't give a flying one
I meant 'current success'..

1 Cup in 35 years?

Like 4-1.
City were playing 3rd tier football as of 1999
A part of me is looking at City and thinking 'yeah that would be nice, playing for the title' but then again you look at how the club is forking out stupid prices on players
Lescott, Jo, Milner!
You can't stop the City money train and I fully beleive that they will win the title this season
"I don't think any of us give a monkeys to be honest RDBD."
The OP obviously does !!!

I would suggest the OP gives a flying one otherwise he wouldn't have posted this rubbish on the Spurs board trying to defend Citys "business plan"....
What you mean is that YOU don't give a flying one....which is fine....you soulless sell-out!
Even though I'm not a huge fan of the way City have gotten so powerful in such a short time, it was nice to see Man U get a spanking for a change
nice one City
League Cup Mitchy!
I remember Arsenal losing to Birmingham in the final
20 year old Martins got the winner
You must be referring to your revenue which is less than you wages.
------------------------------
Yep, that's the one. Well done.
City were always going to lose money in the first few years. I don't know why people have such a hard time understanding that.

You do it all. After all, you make it all sound so easy, you clearly know what you're doing.

You're right, it's perfectly obvious. I have a problem with what it's doing to the league. Even with a manager with no experience in the PL you're going to walk into the top 3 this season.
Would I like to see Spurs buy a load of world class players? Of course I would, but would it make the PL a better competition..?
