I am really worried about Downing atm he started off really well and sure his pace and agility down the wings is useful but he cant shoot and his final ball has been poor most of the time. Unless he suddendly improves to his Villa form another winger is a must come the summer. I dont even think Downing has got so much as an assist yet and people slate Carroll. I know Carroll might of cost more and yes he does frustrate me at times but at least he has got us a few goals and assists in his time what has Downing done? I liked Downing when we bought him and I thought he would bring us much needed width and quality from wide areas but it just has not happened at all so far. I used to get annoyed when Liverpool fans criticised him and as much as I want it to work out for him over the last few weeks I have come to the conclusion that the critism was probably justified.

Kenny now needs to stand up to some scrutinity and be to account for the money he has appeared to have wasted on Downing. I'm not going to mention Carroll because he's been feeding off scraps. Downing is fast becoming more anonymous in each game he plays. His finishing is poor, his decision making dire, and his crossing of the ball abysmal. Adam Johnson showed more in 10 minutes than Downing has done for the entire 90. Come on Kenny; get it sorted.

Barry was lucky not to receive a second yellow earlier but the referee gave him the benefit of the doubt, then he tried a sneaky body check which the referee didn't fall for. A deserved second yellow, although a little soft.

The referee was very good and was unfortunate with the penalty decision. If i'd had been in his position I'd have given it too. Too many refereeing mistakes this past week though. A sign that they cannot cope with the pace and 'cleverness' of the players anymore. Time for video replays.

Thought you missed that comment of mine, tbh, there's was so many incoming comments at the time, anyway it was just a bit of fun regarding the bet you made, don't feel like posting right now though, maybe in a few weeks time I'll remind you of it( the bet) again.

I thought Liverpool were average at best, and when you consider Liverpool had 48 hours extra rest,just shows how far behind City,Utd and Spurs you are.
