Well we won, but I don't think Palace or Cardiff will be quakin in their boots about either team.

Well done Liverpool supporters. Owned that ground.

If kompany's was a red then so was Johnson's. At least the referee isn't soft at giving away free-kicks and cards. The problem is, he isn't consistant with the other referees.

Good win.

That went on for a bit.
I can't even remember how we scored

City Fans Silenced.

I didn't hear them all night in truth. City Fans Silent is more appropriate.

Went through 10 cigarettes the second half....and I don't smoke!

I'm very happy with the result, but why did we abandon the pass and move we had in the first half? We we disorganised for 15 mins in the second half and I never saw that under Benitez whatever the result.

But we showed heart in a big match and that could be the most important thing to come out of the game.

We brought defenders on, but the bench didn't have any attackers.

Thank goodness, good win lads, we'll play much better than this at Anfield.

Did he say claudio reina?

Should we go at them at anfield?

Fact of the day: Liverpool become the first team to kept a clean sheet against Man City at Eastland

R1. You sound like that United 'fan', Captain Positivity. Haven't got multiple accounts have you?!!

Got_Better your usually very optimistic about these things, so I'm surprised you feel this way, City went ages without losing at home and although we let them attack us our goal was under too much threat! Anyone know where Balotelli is?

Anfield - We will attack for the first 20 mins, then as the game goes on drop further and further back.

Unless we get a couple early, the 2nd leg will be just as painful to watch, just you wait.
