..when Leeds Utd come knocking there will be no rejection by Warnock!...if he takes the Ipswich job he will be a mug...he should sit tight for a week or two and watch the results at ER...SG is under enormous pressure now...only two wins will save him...and hopefully with good performances as well!...asking a lot? I dont think so!...

What the hell is it about Ipswich? Whoever we want, they want as well! And the annoying thing is they're always the ones to win the race!

Bates will start talking to Colin if we drop points in our next 2 home games IMO.Will not take a lot to turn results around with the right manager at the helm.

Yes I'd have him...proven record at this level and and a manager who can get the absolute best out of players...SGs done okay for us and at the end of the day is one of us so he can go with thanks but the fact is he has taken us as far as he can.

Let SG go together with Becchio who obviously wants out, get a few quid for Becchio, offload the likes of O'Brien, Connolly, Bruce, Kisnorbo etc and give Warnock a few quid, I'd suggest £2m, so we can buy a 'spine' for the team to go with a manager who has a spine and I reckon well go up via the Play Offs.

Thanks Simon but I'm up for Warnock.

Who would you rather manage Leeds United who can only attract rejects/loan players or Ipswich who can sign players for money off their rivals?

The Artist.....we beat Ipswich to sign AOB !!!

SKB,

What player's are these that Ipswich sign off their rivals?

Spending a lot of money on washed up players like Chopra, Bullard, Inmiganson and then average players like Emmanuel Thomas is hardly great transfer work.

I thought the signing of Chopra who has always scored goals at this level was a good signing. Similarly making Bullard's deal permanent was a good move as he did well for them last year and is a class player at this level. Getting Bowyer on a free who was playing and scoring in the prem last year from Birmingham was another good move.
Think Emanuel Thomas was a bit overpriced but considering his age it is a good permanent signing.

Put it this way if we had the money available i'd have signed Collins, Bullard, Andrews, Emanuel Thomas, Bowyer and Chopra instead of all our outfield signings this summer. Shame they don't have a decent manager.

Colin will get us promoted

Warnock 10/11
Di Matteo 5/1
Djones 8/1
Redfearn 9/1
L Clark 10/1
S Bruce 10/1
Wise 12/1
Curbishley 12/1

for me warnock and curbishley are the best options loads of experience with either of them could be just what we need after the way things have been at the club lately, neither are yes men would bates like that??? if were lookin for an up and coming manager Di Matto or Clark could fit the bill but i would choose between warnock and curbishley.

as much as I hate Colin ****er, I feel that he would be brilliant for us - and considering we are only 3 points off the playoffs with 18 games remaining, with him in charge playoffs are a dead certainty.

Also automatic wouldn't be beyond his capabilities. only 9 points away... think positive lads

This job is going to take a top level, hard as nails guv'nor who does not take any ****. Walk into the training ground on day 1 and work out who in the squad will deliver. Then sort the core team and cut out the continual cancer of defensive calamity. I remember that game against Preston; 4-1 up at home. Lose 4-6. Cannot believe we have continued to ship goals and capitulate in the same fashion for all this time!

I'm not sure if Warnock fancies the task, but if he does ( and the odds suggest it's a done thing ). Get behind him and get ready for the play offs! Forget the Blunts connection, they stiffed him and there is little loyalty there, Warnock will get this squad working and believing again. Clear out the backroom staff, they failed this season.

Warnock will deliver 3 wins in a row an inspired patch of form. THAT will get us in the play offs. Anything else is nonsense. Warnock guarantees competitiveness and hard as nails approach to playing football. Not shipping goals like it is some kind of challenge to overcome. Warnock

......................................................................................

Of those two it's got to be Curbishley. If Warnock takes us up we need to start planning who to replace him with before he takes us down again . . .
