I can agree with watching him of MOTD yesterday he was immense and the assist he got for the goal would have been better than Rooneys had it gone in. His movement was good yesterday something that i haven't seen from him since at Chelsea.

Torres is not the only issue AVB needs to turn round with the squad.
its clear we do have enough quality in the squad but our form is irractic and when you look at city, utd and thsp, id say we would be pushing it to to fancy we will pull back the points 2 from the three sides above us.
spurs are the most likely to drop and fade over city & utd imo.

Drogba was better than him for a start. Maybe not that season but Drogba at his best > Torres at his best. Eto'o was also better. Other than that there weren't many better than him at the time though, Tevez and Milito were probably on par
yup exactly ronaldo was a winger same with messi and when he came 2nd imo he shouldve won back then if he got the ball you knew poo was about to go down hed stroll past players with ease and when he shot you knew itd go in ... slowly hes getting his swagger in front of goal back

Honestly at liverpool i always wanted him to come chelsea because i always thought he was better ... thats why i want him to do well so much because i think he is better than didier and we won the doubble when didier was on top form, so imagine if torres was on top form what wed win

What I said was so simple, in that season he was the best striker in the world but when drogba's fit and on form there's no one in the world better than him to have up top.

That's the point - it's now all in the past. He isn't ever "gonna get back" no matter how much you personally crave it. He'll have the occasional good day at the office, that's all.
