"single one of you genuinely think that he was trying to kick scott parker in the face?"
-----
Was he deliberately trying to kick another player? Yes, and the detail doesn't really matter from there on in.
I think Parker should face action from the FA for throwing his face into Balotelli's boot.
Dear OP,
Are you Lee Dixon? Of course he meant it!
He intentionally stamped down where he knew Scott Parker was, ok he may not have meant to get him in the head and it may have been in the heat of the moment. But he is and sould be held response able for his actions!
You think he's ( a bit eccentric) I think he's missing a couple of screws!
Why is this on the Liverpool board anyway?
lescotts elbow was much worse, funny how that is kinda being swept away behind the ballotelli stamp
King Luis - Methinks the OP is a bit bored and wants to start a bit of a fight
To clarify. Everyone's acting as though because it's balotelli he was intentionally trying to crush parkers skull. Pretty much all players lash out like that from time to time. It was just unfortunate that i happened to hit parker in the face. If anything blame webb for not issuing a red, not balotelli. Had it been Modric's shin that he hit i doubt there would be any furore.
I cannot believe I have just heard on Sky another former ref Dermot Gallagher saying there is no clear evidence on either the stamping by Balotelli or the elbow by Lescott.
No wonder most supporters think the refs are bent in favour of a few elite teams.

Glass houses mate. You're the one who thinks Balotelli is a victim in all of this.
Shut up man, your a tool!
He raked his head while he was on the floor! You cannot do that. Bang out of order and the actions of a maggot.

Overreacts? The guy stomped on Parker's head
Putting aside the fact he was still on the pitch to win and take the winning penalty....
In the big wide world then football is irrelevant.
In the world of football the actions by Balotelli are pretty much as bad as it gets. pre-meditated stamp on the ballers head...even in rugby that would see the player being banned for weeks.
*ballers? not sure what I was thinkg then! Should read players
I like him, he currrraaaazy man!
I don't think balotelli's the victim. I think there is no way you could ever state 100% that it was intentional. I would have thought other liverpool fans might have maybe agreed with me after everyone castigated suarez without any proof. That's neither here nor there though.
If however it WAS intentional, then he deserves the red just like every other footballer (including carl henry on saturday). Thing is, I don't see the entire media having a go at Henry...
He didn't look where he was putting his foot so I don't know if he deliberately stamped on Parker's face, but he knew he was going to stand on him. If you watch it again Balotelli falls over after he'd planted his foot - he actually put himself off balance to make sure he stood on Scotty.
He might be "entertaining" but he'll always be a nasty as far as i'm concerned.
City play better with 10 men.
had Balotelli gone off they would have scored at least two.
See United Match for proof.

True, but surely that's Webb's fault for not giving the red card? It seems to me that any other player doing this, and it would be the ref that got the stick.
