What I expected today was a good win, & that should have been achievable,
back to Stats...
We had + 28 goals at the start today, against a team on -5, huge difference, One we should have been more than capable of taking advantage of.
not only that,
We were outgunned to some tune today,
6 on, 9 off for them today,
2 on, 3 off for us.
I expected more from TOWN,
& don't think that was unreasonable under the circumstances.
A side that has Gudjohnsen, Arfield, Kay not even on the bench Should have beaten Tranmere......IMO , But that's me, One eyed as ever.

As I've said above, Charlton couldn't beat them at The Valley and Sheff Utd couldn't beat them at Prenton Park, so what makes you think Town should have done any better?
Nowt's guaranteed in Footy and a point away at Tranmere will do nicely, although all three would have been better.
Btw Darn, the grass does grow in Mirfield in January and I even spotted my resident Blue T-ts hopping inside their nesting box and preparing it for nesting and even the daffodils are in full bud - not joking.
Btw. We've also no poisonous spiders, biting mossies, deadly snakes, or rioting Abbos to worry about either and to cap it all we've plenty of Watter
PS: The mods on here won't even allow me to call that little blue and yellow bird it's proper name of "Blue T-t"

Just got back..A bit dissapointed really, but the journey home helped rationalize things...

Sean Morrison ~ Top defender with awareness and skill in the air & on the floor. We need to work on that long throw tho. He even came forwards in open play and got a few crosses in. Best CB I've seen in a town shirt for quite few years..
Gobern & Johnson ~ both tackled well and ball play was decent, although both made a few school boy errors in 2nd half...
Jordan Rhodes ~ put away the only real chance he had all game (skyed a tricky volley over the bar in 1st half), but also played well while on the ball....
Town Fans ~ Great away support today, it looked like we outnumbered them today...
Bad Points: -
Injuries ~ Ward and Lee both went off injured, Lee's looks like it might be serious..
Confidence on the Ball ~ We generally looked scared when we had the ball. Most players couldn't get rid of the ball fast enough..Where's our composure gone??..
Town Fans ~ Am I just unlucky or just touchy..But All the town fans around me were dikeds...All pi$$ed, gobby, negative as hell. Apparently 2 of their friends got arrested in the pub across the road before the game, so they decided that anybody in uniform was a target for disgusting fowl mouthed abuse, and also abused town fans around them for not joining in their abusive chants...This cr@p is just not needed. The other 1600 town fans were great....
So what, we drew a game, you can't win em all ya know,,,,Looking forwards to MK Dons game already....UTT...
Didnt bother with Todays game whatsoever, My Jedi powers foretold of the game being pants, Took in the St Joes v Slawit game and a couple of pots in the Lamb served by the most attractive busty Polish girls who are friendly to boot, Far better than wasting brass when hard up following Clarkys under achieving Town,,, Mirf - I have fed my little feathered friends for the last 5 years and now have them sat waiting for me to fill the feeders every morning,, I get loads of Blue twits, Coal twits and Greats aswell as a couple of pairs of Bullfinches, Half a dozen goldfinch and a couple of greens as well as a couple of lesser spotteds and the usual blackbirds, wood sparrows and thrushes, Tis a busy spot my woodland adjoined backyard, Costs me a bit mind,
