He isn't good enough anymore to play for England, he is so slow. I would rather take Ledley King who is the best defender in England, but his mean it wouldn't be possible.

I think, but don't quote me, that they could only suspend him, pending the case, if a complaint had also been made directly to them.

Maybe they could possibly relieve him of international duties on the grounds that the pressure of the pending case may be detrimental to his, and the England teams, performance.

The importance this country puts on the role captain is ridiculous. it harks back to the days when England actually won the world cup. Shades of '66... watery eyes, Bobby Moore ect. All before the vast majority of the users who use this forum were born.

The fact is that the captain of England becomes undropable. It's stupidity if you ask me. Other countries couldn't give a tinkers toss who the captain is, as long as the team perform well.

I just can't understand given this fact John Terry was again chosen as the captain of his country. For footballing reasons he shouldn't be considered undropable, and for other reasons, he has become a national embarrassment.

You are all blasting a guy who hasn't been proved guilty. Most of you would have complained about the same, in the Suarez case.

For god sake when people mentioned some of the things Suarez had got up to in the past, a lot of Liverpool fans quite rightly said diving, biting and whatever else dont make you a racist.

But it seems banging your mates girl and his other misdemeanours seem to add up to racist when it comes to Terry.

Rio, regardless of being fit or not, will not play, he's lost it. Terry is still a great defender. He will be the main man in defence and is a player England need.

Who you have intercourse with is nothing to do with football either, so why drop a player for it? Crazy. To have your best team, you need your best players, regardless of them having relationships outside of marriage, this has nothing to do with it.

Exactly. There seems to be no evidence. However I see no reason why Anton would make it up, as his character seems to be a good one, so his evidence will be crucial. If the evidence is just from a member of the crowd then it will be rightly thrown out.
