YES!
I love Arsene. He's brilliant.
In all seriousness, his reputation is being destroyed by the fans.
You've had some great times with him at the helm andyou're not prepared to ride the storm (at the first wave)
Surely this is more than Wenger? This is about the board. You have no money, but you blame Arsene for not buying. He's doing the best he can with what he's got.
You made £50m on Fabregas and Nasri. Where's it gone? It's in the bank account and Wenger can't touch it.
This isn't really the first wave. It's like the first waves were very mild, with the occasional strong wave which we have weathered. This is a shitstorm though.
Well i think he deserves some support given that he's your greatest ever manager.
How sad for him to go out with the fans mocking him
Not prepared to ride the storm at the first wave?
Just how big do the the waves get up Liverpool way?

Sorry but this is a load of rubbish. We DO have money but we just do not want to spend it because of the board's parsimonious ways of dealing with the finances. They have very little ambition and as long as we are making a profit year on year (like we have been doing), then they don't care where we finish. We have a bunch of yes men and business men, no-one has that passion for football or for Arsenal Football Club to succeed once again.
If we did not have money, we would not have spent £50m in the Summer. We have money, but we're being restricted to how much we are allowed to spend.
Admittedly, that is not in Arsene's hands, but he is a manager who is there to motivate the players and given them confidence boosts. He is also there to teach the players and utilize different tactics and formations. He is meant to ensure we have a decent enough subs bench so that the players who may be called upon from the bench can make an impact. He's not been doing that of late and we've been so over reliant on van Persie, it's become a joke. The goals have dried up from midfield and Wenger is not taking responsibility for his poor tactics and management strategies.
From what I can see Arsenal have about 160m cash
Cash and short-term deposits

Whether you have no money to spend or you have money but don't want to spend it, my point still stands. Wenger doesn't have the money to spend which is why you should be having a go at the board not Wenger.
You may well have spent £50m but it was £50m on worse players than you sold. When Liverpool are spending £23m on Suarez, Man City £35m on Aguero, Chelsea are spending £25m on Mata, and you're spending £10m on Arteta. You need to spend big money.
Its your board and not your manager.
The £50m you spent in the summer was from selling Fabregas and Nasri was it not. As i said no money.

There have been a multitude of articles on this site over the past few weeks berating the board and the chairman as well as the manager. You clearly have not seen the articles that have been saying that the board are the reason why we're not being able to splash out as much on players, as our rivals are.
As for Wenger, we're all getting sick of his naive tactics and bizarre substitutions as well as his lack of graciousness and respect in post match interviews.
I doubt you'd be saying the same if Arsene was at Liverpool.
I doubt you'd be saying the same if Arsene was at Liverpool.

I honestly would be. There have been a few Liverpool fans calling for Dalglish's head this season already. Its ridiculous. But I look at the bigger picture. The previous owners almost ruined us and it will take a few years for us to get back amongst it and Kenny is doing a good job in my opinion.
The bigger picture at Arsenal is that since you moved to the Emirates Wenger hands have been tied. The most he's spent on a player is £16m on Nasri. How are you supposed to compete when the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City are spending £30m+ on players.
I think its a but unfair to call his tactics naive. Wenger is a great manager. Have you forgotten what he did for your club between 1997 and 2005? It wasn't a fluke. Since then he's not been able to build a good enough squad again. And that is down to the lack of funds.
Your talking about someone who has spent £27/28m on centre backs in the last couple of years!
How many other 8 figure buys.....Walcott, Arshavin, Chamberlain, Arteta
There are at least 5/6 players in the squad costing 8 figures plus and not insignificant sums spend on others
The wage bill is huge, the budget is very much a CL / trophy winning level
This constant talk of money & penny pinching at Arsenal is an astonishing untruth! They just spend it in the wrong areas then arrogantly tell everyone else how stupid they are if they sign a player for a big fee
And henry is even turning on your fans
Nightmare for the gunners lol

This was the argument used with Rafa. When you shop in the mid range market, say £7m - £15m it is very hit and miss. When you spend £20m you know you're more often than not getting a quality player. Wenger hasn't been allowed to do that.
8 figure buys? You've never spent more than £16m ever. Football has changed mate. Players are being bought for £30m+. David Bentley was £16m. That's the sort of quality you get. We bought Downing for £20m ffs. That's what you get for £20m nowadays!
Imagine last January, when you were 1st in the league, on the verge of getting into the Carling Cup, still in the FA Cup and in the Champions League and you went out and spent £25m on someone like Suarez or Ozil or Benzema. You probably would have gone on to win 2 trophies that season but you didn't, then players' heads are turned and you lose Nasri
Arsene has been able to spend £12m on 16 yr olds....he's not been denied funds
It's a complete con....
In fact he's spend so many millions on teenagers the clubs had to take a loan based on future season ticket sales
He's then sat back smugly calling it a youth policy....Wilshere is still starting out. Cashley Cole is the last genuine home grown player to come right through to be a star in the last 15 yrs!
