Excellent post Aggers!
I'm of the opinion that Suarez would want to leave at the end of the season. He's not really accepted what he did was wrong initially and clearly feels hard done by. The club have stood by him and must be disappointed in his actions on Saturday, hence the apology.
Problem is, if Suarez stays and he doesn't improve his behaviour, it could have a detrimental affect on moral and the club's value.
If he goes, he's going to have to buy out his contract or a club is going to have to come up with a decent offer. Will LFC accept a loss on him just to get rid? Will another team want him with his reputation?
I think the owners will want him gone but at the same time, they won't want to let him go for nothing or next to nothing and they can't terminate his contract if he doesn't do anything out of line up to the summer, well not without compensation anyway.
Suarez for me has shown a massive disrespect for a club who have (rightly or wrongly) stood by him through difficult times. He has a massive amount to do if he wants to put this right.
If he stays and shows he can do this and bucks up his ideas, then that is admirable.
But I think he will take the cowardly way out and want a move elsewhere. I hope I'm proved wrong because I think he's a great player and enjoy watching him in the PL when he's just doing what he needs to do, ie play football!

I don't think he will be sold if he bucks up his ideas.
It's a shame that Evra is also accused of making reference to Suarez's origin and/or race but apparently it's allowed in retaliation ?

Tell me about it, we all know Suarez is a clown. But, I also think Kenny is too.
I think we as fans need to get behind him if he bucks up his ideas too. Like it or not, to be at the top of the game we need players of his character and from the odd snippets I've heard about the actual game, Suarez was our only passionate player.
If he shows the club any disrespect again, then he needs to go.
For me he's just too much of a liability. Every game he does something that makes you shake your head.
I'd be happy to see him sold in the summer, I don't care if he's our best player or not, no one is bigger than the club.
He's got 3 months to change my mind.

I personally think he'l go in the summer. He' s the number one hate figure now over here.
------------------------------
Some players thrive on that though, Ronaldo came back to Utd after "the wink" as public enemy number 1 and was given dogs abuse at every ground. He played superbly.
The bigger question is the challenge to authority as the OP says. Personally I think if Suarez toes the line, plays the rest of the season out with reasonable humility and plays well then he'll stay. Otherwise he'll be out the door.
Metro.....................It's a shame that Evra is also accused of making reference to Suarez's origin and/or race but apparently it's allowed in retaliation ?

Unbelievable!! Still trying to justify things. This has shamed LFC and both Suarez & KD have come out of this badly. Accept it!
Oh do one Metro FFS, go and try to get someone else banned eh?

Look fella, whats the point of coming on here just to make a comment which is totally pointless.

nice try - but i've done nothing of the sort.
I am aware as to why the poister was banned though and it was more to do with something he said.
perhaps you should have thought about that before you make false accusations.

He didn't shake the hand of a person he doesn't like. This is how it goes in the real world. Get a freaking grip.

I don't have a problem with refusing a handshake, more that an agreement was made and not honoured.
-----------------------------------------------------
Well I see your point but I also try to think how Suarez might have felt, having agreed to shake the hand of Evra and finally got to the point of doing it but just couldn't follow through with faking the handshake, his honour kicked in.
Yes a word should be had because it did make Kenny look quite foolish but sell him for it? Calm yourself down.
Kenny wanted to dump Carroll without telling him and denied it. Suarez thinks lying is normal
Kenny is 'bang out of order' and his boss's have told him so
Whether Kenny's ego can handle being publicly scolded we shall see
Suarez couldn't give a monkey's. Look at his form
Is Suarez more important to the team's progress, or Kenny ?
Will the board trust Kenny in the summer market ?
Do the players trust Suarez ?
TCP, you're going to great lengths here to WUM, what happened to your Downing article did it not work out or is it still ongoing?
All valid questions I have asked.
You have been lied to by a player who most defended blindly. Same as your manager
Yes, Downing is still poor

Does Suarez have a future at Anfield?
