Allwhite; the bigger picture as you put it, has been ongoing for the last 7-years and we're in a worse place now than back then. You're obviously very happy about our owner and paying the 6th highest prices in the UK to watch garbage whilst our best players are sold and replaced with lesser quality.

Rangers are where they are because they allowed a bates like person to steal the club through the back door. Financed with debt and ripping off HMRC, so for them they could end up in administration wiping their debt and starting again, but White will have made money from his initial deal.

We're not where I'd like us to be, or where I think we deserve, as fans, to be. But how are we worse off than 7 years ago?

Sol; is this squad as good as the one we had when Bates came in. No its not and we all understand the underlying problems, and a shytemanager at the time. But league position we weren't far away and then the wheels fell off completley and we know what happened then.

Well, league position was worse - 14th v 10th.

Squad - not so sure. Leeds 1st game under Bates:

Sullivan, Kelly, Butler, Carlisle, Richardson, Lennon (Joachim, 45), Wright, Gregan, Pugh, Healy, Deane (Ricketts, 68). Subs (not used): Harrison, Einarrsson, Spring.

For every Lennon there's a Ricketts.

From a financial point of view we're miles ahead. Even if the money isn't being spent on what us fans prioritise.

I'm not up on UEFA rules but you may have a point there especially with Platini at the helm.

There's only three club's in Scotland Celtic and Rangers for football and Gala Fairydean for their name!! Rangers ought to be replaced in the SPL by GF, for no other reason than we can giggle like children when they get mentioned in the results programme!!
