im 50 years of age..i used to play ...against towns midfield i could still play..no one would get close to me, no one would be rushing me, i can play the 25 yard passes into runners, anyone can if you have any sort of ability and the time and the luxury of space to do it..
schumacker played on his own in the second half, joey and kay ran away everytime he got it and he was allowed to then bypass our two centre midfielderrs just by playing the ball over them..its a f-cking disgrace.. they thought and truly believed they had done enough to win the game in 45 minutes, they stole their wages in the second half(naysmith and novak apart).... kay will always try and have as much of the game "off" as is humanly possible and joey ran out of steam(he hasnt too much to start with)..gobern looked totally disinterested in coming on as though it was below him..

new idea, put novak in the centre of midfield, at least he will run up and down and at least the opposition central players might know they have been in a game..

if you are going to kick the ball long and high for a whole half, at least have a centre forward who can challenge for it..
rhodes cant chase and he cant challenge(simon its not his f-cking game)... the 3 times it went to his feet we had no one within 50 yards of him...

Id like to ask a number of our players do they seriously think they are "too good" to be at huddersfield and be playing in the 3rd division.. some of the deluded f-ckers might think so, they play games like it..

this "tactic" of running away when the opposition get the ball near the halfway line is f-cking suicidal..
all going back and standing around in our own box, allowing balls over the full backs into the corners or for runners to be picked out in our own 18 yard box without any fear of being offside is the most suicidal defending I have ever seen..
the first 30 minutes we played with the back 4 15 yards outside our box, bury did nothing.. 3-0 we then drop back for no good reason and joey gives away a daft free kick within shooting range.
we let a goal in and have a bad ten minutes but they dont score again and its half time..
the first 15/20 minutes of the second haf, not much happens at either end, we are still up the pitch and they are going nowhere.. At what point and who decides then to drop right back and allow them time and space to come onto us???

we just never seem to learn, whoever is running the team or playing in the back 4 and central midfield(we dont , in my opinion have a central midfield-we effectively play virtually every game with 9 men)...

It's Lee Clark's fault.

Dean Hoyle has made a mistake. Clark went because we threw too many leads away, drew too many games, constantly messed around with the team/formation and made bad substitutions.

Well b gger me 3 games in and Grayson's changed nothing of the above.

It was a ridiculous time to change manager. We all know Cads can't start a game on the wing, Kay can't play holding midfield, Novak can't play wide, Rhodes doesn't like it upfront on his own when defending a lead and that Naysmith is slow.

Yet i have to watch Leeds' reject manager who knows nothing about our team or division learn all these things while we run out of games. Rubbish

Time for a loan or 2 in midfield then, hes seen now in the 3 games who he's got, and what they do in a match, Simon it's now time to manage them.

Even that relaible remedy didn't work - off out to do a run. Wish there was a race on I'd run a 3 minute mile with all this frustration boiling inside.

I said to my mate in first 15 minutes of second half that no one from Town had stamped their authority on the game! The whole second half was painful because you knew what was coming! Bury seemed to shuffle their pack in midfield a little in't second half and did it show! Gobern came on to try and put an extra pair of legs in't middle for Town, but like 38 said looked sooooooo disinterested!

Midfield is a big problem for Town! I think it's terminal too!

we had two chances in the second half, one from a quick break in which we had 3 players in their half and mccombe worked very hard to head it 15 yards wide with a free header from 6 yards from a corner..

the two goals we let in were when everyone was back marking
f-cking nobody and were just too many players in our own box doing f-ck all to stop the ball going into our net..

The Bury defence were gross, we should have palyed the same way which got us 3-0 up...we would have scored 6 or 7...but no, we got the jitters when they got that jammy deflected goal...then we all wanted to see what SG had learned from Stevenage...answer...nowt !

midfield dropped deep and we stopped passing to each other,no one took charge ..we backed off to the edge of our own box, so Bury played it wide..2nd goal came that way...then in 92nd minute we've got 11 men defending in our own box and they get 2 free touches to score..

Midfield is defo the problem, too deep, so we give the ball back every time, they don't work hard enough to close down, and no one has the nouce to slow it down and put there foot on the ball, start passing to each other, make them run around...tire them out...

Trouble now is the confidence will be ROCK BOTTOM, and no matter how many goals up we get, we will always have the jitters that we haven't scored enough to win.

There no 6 ran the show in the 2nd half...Bury looked like world beaters as we slowly sank into a dire looking side who could only hoof the ball back to them.

Major problems, and definately need to go into loan market...Arfield was a waste of space, Joey dropped too deep, Gobern is u/s, and Kay is NOT a midfielder..

Lee Clark must be haveing a laugh at what he's left behind, he never sorted midfield and now SG realises how rubbish it is.

2 home games and we'll lose them both, because the crowd will be on their backs...like booing your own team at the end of the game is just the start of it. Not a good thing to do, but understandable..Deano will be extremely annoyed..

absolutely no balls in 2nd half, apart from wardy, great run thru their defence, then a great shot which hit the bar, but apart from that there wasn't anything memorable......
The towns that booed at the end was a bit sad. There were some town fans near me that joined in with the Bury chant of "3 nil and you f -ked it up"
I was/am gutted, but never boo.....
I just can't get over the great away support, but some of the players couldn't raise their game when needed..Kaye needs to fk off....
