David Murray and money managers like Waldo and Advocaat have to take the blame.

Well our current Administration is a direct result of the £9m unpaid taxes since Whyte took over.

But the bigger picture clearly stems from a history of overspending and taking some risks which although seemed ok at the time (EBTs) the view of the HMRC seems to have changed on them so these decisions are possibly coming back to haunt us.

Assuming the big tax case goes against us;

60% for Murray creating the problems in the first place
40% for Whytes handling of the situation he took over and the unecessary additional humiliation he has heaped on the club.

If the big tax case goes for us;

100% Whyte because this whole situation will seem almost completely uneccessary without his involvement

Murray for acting on bad advice on the legaility of benefit trusts.

Whyte although a total clown only brought something to a head that was going to happen sooner rather than later.

I blame Murray, he had a moral obligation to see that the person who would take Rangers would be 'Fit and Proper', especially after he promised to the fans that it would be the case. This is the main reason i gave Whyte the benefit of the doubt as i just didnt believe that Murray would allow someone like him to take charge.

As for blaming the managers, this is a petty point Charlie. The managers ask for money, it is up to David Murray to decide wether it is viable. You just seem to insistent on getting people like Walter Smith in the chopping block. Your bitterness is palpable.

correct you cannot blame managers as chadams says every manager worth his salt will always ask for more money if he gets it he spends it (except for wenger)

they man who says yes have 5-10 million has to be the man in the wrong

what was it every 5 celtic spend we will spend 10?

that quote alone tells you who is to blame

"what was it every 5 celtic spend we will spend 10?"

I know we are paying for that now, hindsight is a wonderful thing, if i were there then, knowing what i know now i would give Murray a slap and tell him tae sssssssh!

I wasnt even old enough to remember that statement, but flook me, im paying for it.

Your team are hoping to match the 4 or 5 you were going to put past Killie on sunday?
