Following on from my other logical Let's get Klopp article this week, I notice Paul Pogba can play football again from March 2025
Pogba doping ban reduced to 18 months after Cas appeal - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cevy8xve9r8o
Would be be a good midfield replacement for some of our dross?
Maybe a cheeky 20 mil bid in January? He'd be raring to go for the remainder of the season from March 2025
Let's get Paul Pogba

United already facing challenges with weak characters and poor personalities contributing to a negative atmosphere in the dressing room. Adding Pogba, whose time at the club was marked by inconsistent performances and off field distractions, could worsen the situation. Instead of stabilising the dressing room, his return might only increase the negativity and further complicate matters.

Additionally, the controlled aggression, combined with bursts of gegenpressen, popularised by Klopp but still evident under Slot under a different variant, means the team's style remains largely unchanged.

Getting rid of Pogba, (like Lukaku, Fred and Depay) was symptomatic of the pizzpoor 'in and out' transfer policy over the past ten years - i.e. keep the problems/inadequates and sack the ones that can genuinely contribute.
It's obviously not going to be a real thing but it's almost as if the club has altered it's culture/philosophy from aspirational, proactive and dynamic footballing leadership to one of accepting a self-damaging, reactive, mundane and directionless mess.
It's all far too late now of course, this current mess is going to take nearly a decade to sort out. Problem is I have been pointing out exactly the same issues (the decade thing) for nearly a decade - and nothing has changed. Too many players just never going to be good enough, and wasting the good ones that are.
This current gap between league successes is going to be greater than both the period before '93 and the period the second most successful team from Lancashire endured.
Sickening.

The joke being he would actually come to our midfield and be the best player there. Our midfield is bottom half prem standard.

He genuinely would improve our midfield significantly
