In my time on BBC 606, I never really got to see the full range of the vermin known as Holte. So I can only take your word that myhammers is conforming to the pattern (I graduated with specialisation in Michigan with a little bit of rogerbold and LDL - I never took the Holte course) .
Yeah I'm sure he is , Funnsy was banned about an Hour before this bloke appeared and they both spout or spouted the same old claptrap in the some old ways
You pays yer money and you takes yer chances
It's funny how, as soon as cold, hard facts are put to some Tottenham fans re the OS, they start becoming abusive and off-topic.
But I'll ask one more time. It's just to be clear. Are you saying that Daniel Levy does not really want the Olympic Stadium. Thanks.
The annoying thing about Holte was that he just would not listen to anybody ....He would ask you to explain something , you would calmly explain it and 5 minutes later he'd ask exactly the same thing and say ...Nobody can explain this ......then about 10 minutes later he'd post the same thing over again
The only difference is this one doesn't seem to know how to cut and paste like Holte did
But I'll ask one more time
............
I swear to god I didn't read that comment before I posted my last remark
RBDB: A simple 'yes' or 'no'. Thanks.
From the person who has completely elided or not responded to the "facts" onseveral postings on this or other articles :
Paging Mr Pot, message from Mr Kettle ...
That aside, IMHO Daniel Levy would prefer the new stadium to be at WHL.
Now I have answered your question, and freed your attention of it, please feel free to educate on the tiny matter of :
- Newham councillors being denied access to the real details of a massive financial undertaking by their own council
- how Newham council can offer a debt-ridden football club a loan at less than market rates, with no ostensible benefit to the council, nor evident debt burden on WHU if the loan defaults
squid :
Sodding typical eh (no smileys as the mozilla browser I am using does not correctly send them to the JA606 server) .
RDBD: You have stated that Daniel Levy does not really want the OS. I just wish to confirm, beyond any doubt, that this is what you have indeed said. A simple 'yes' or 'no'. Thanks.
I've got i.e and modz ...Tend to use the i.e as it runs very well but it is nice to have ModzFF as a back-up
There are plenty of free downloads for both
IMHO he now wishes to get the WHL scheme back on track, and the JR is a means to do it.
For even if the law allowed us to take the OS from WHU, that would be true PR suicide, and Levy knows it.
The Standard takes the singular Has not Have.
And you are criticising the literacy of others. Also, your sentence is constructed back to front.
squid :
I'd use firefox, but it crashes the GUI mgr on my Unix machine, forcing me to do a power cycle all the time (I'm not if temporary ADSL drops at some crucial juncture - like some background AJAX activity etc - is causing the lockup) .
RDBD: So you are saying that Daniel Levy doesn't really want the OS, and is just using the bidding process to get the WHL scheme back on track? Is that correct? A simple 'yes' or 'no' will suffice. Thanks.
Newham councillors being denied access to the real details of a massive financial undertaking by their own council
Newham DIDN'T lend 40 million to WHUFC but to the special purpose vehicle created specifically to represent Newham Council’s partnership with WHUFC regarding the stadium.
Actually, I would be even more precise than that :
1. I believe that THFC PLC want the WHL development back on track.
2. That Levy *individually* would like the OS.
3. That because the JR is at the behest of the *PLC* (Levy is NOT the PLC - I assume you understand this basic point) , even if the WHU bid is shown to be a sham and the OS was offered to the PLC, they would not take it.
Me done.
You better get typing your response to my points (I am looking forward to being educated on this) ...
Mossad, you forgot the rest of the article......don't worry though I found it. I like the last paragraph.
"The logical conclusion from all this is that the bid has always been a Newham Council bid. The co-owners of WHUFC, Gold and Sullivan, have been happy to tag along as a move to the Olympic Stadium frees up a potentially lucrative plot of land, namely the Boleyn ground, and the club’s involvement gives the Council’s bid some sporting credence. The SPV has already been set up and Newham Council has a 50 percent share in the partnership, giving WHUFC an equal share in any potential earnings made by the SPV at, what appears to be, next to no financial cost to the club. It seems that terms and conditions have been agreed.
When the time comes for Newham Council to take out the £40 million loan, my money is on Westfield being the lender (which is why the comedy mayor makes the claim that the money cannot be used for any other purpose – if the Council borrows from the Public Works Loans Board, it can); neat and predictable.
However, this leaves the big questions unanswered: Why has the Council committed to such a venture with a football club that’s in a dire strait financially? How, specifically, will the people of Newham benefit from the deal? If, as has been claimed in the Council's submission, no loan has been agreed as yet, why can the Council not pull out of the deal and borrow the money to save jobs and services instead? And, most importantly, if the comedy mayor is determined to go ahead with this folly, cui bono?"
i think he might be Holte junior. same colours ????
Ah, "special purpose vehicles" .
Hereafter known as SPVs (though not as much fun
HMRC, the SFO etc years of experience of "dealing" with (the aftermaths) of all sorts of exotic SPVs.
Simple questions, what are the "partner" liabilities for loan default if/when the creditors come calling ??
50:50 (proper partnership) ?? Some other value ??
as much fun ... as the SPVs in Captain Scarlet.
After much hole digging on your part and a refusal, despite repeated requests stretching back over an hour, to give a simple 'yes' or 'no' answer, it's fair to deduce the following:
Daniel Levy does not really want the Olympic Stadium.
He has spent money and time on it, but he doesn't really want it.
He has appealed and sought JR over it on several occasions, and is even planning a further JR, but he doesn't really want the OS.
He hired agents to secretly collect information on OPLC members, but he doesn't really want the OS.
Absolutely unbelievable. I am stunnded at the level of delusion displayed by saying that Daniel Levy does not want the Olympic Stadium. Absolutely unbelievable.
The property developers estimated that Upton Park ground is worth more than 20 million.

unfortunately though, rbdb said the answer to your question is "yes".
have you got an alternate speech for that answer ?
Daniel Levy does not want the Olympic Stadium. Unbelievable.
