I only saw about 1/3 of the game in total but it sounded like a cracker
hopefully there will be proper extended highlights somewhere
Balotelli's penalties amaze me. Can't believe how he is

Gazza did you defer your entry or did you just apply again after your gap year?

Never knew that about O'Neil. Thought he'd be one of the more laid back managers
So you can reapply with the same PS? That's a relief, I was worried it would count as plagiarising and stuff.
JNR would be lost without Gazza

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly running the rule over Lorient striker Alain Traore and has received glowing reports from scouts sent to monitor the Burkina Faso international.
The Anfield boss is looking to bring in attacking additions but has a fairly restrictive budget to work with and may well elect to put in an exploratory bid for the 24 year old when the transfer window re-opens.
The former Auxerre man has started well at Stade du Moustoir following his summer move from Auxerre, netting four goals in five Ligue 1 matches thus far this season.

Find the maximum value of the following and the value of x at which it occurs: 4x^2 - 8x - 7
(Hint: complete the square)
this was a practice question my teacher gave me ahead of a test tomorrow
just wondering if it's a mistake and the question should actually be asking for the MINIMUM rather than MAXIMUM value. Because that would make sense after working it out, but asking for the max value doesn't
Don, I need help with financial management stuff?
I'm actually quite happy with my PS. My structure is somewhat unconventional but apparently it works quite well.

CSTP just cheat and differentiate it.
Gazza that is a huge risk
so it's an error in the question gazza?
happy face suggests so I didn't actually realise it that way i just did the whole completing the square method and realised the max value would just be infinite.
my teacher set the wrong question then
at least it was a good question if i just alter that one word. I've already done the working out bit which made it all worthwhile
CSTP no offence but why are you still doing quadratics in Y11?
JNR I haven't done differentiation yet.
The test tomorrow is the first additional maths topic we've done
I can't believe you were actually going to write a story
JNR because it's part of the add maths syllabus? Lol I'm not the one who's setting the exam paper in June
Plus quadratics is just one of the things in the topic. Other stuff like perpendicular bisector, discriminant + tangents, circle graphs/equations is also included
